Attorneys who have sat on evidence and went on as a result to win a trial know for a fact that a Jury's verdict can say nothing about the truth of what occurred. Here, Amber Heard made the choice to 'oversell' her position. Best witnesses undersell, and its up to the attorney to oversell.

Probably the greatest closer in the history of Trial Attorneys Johnny Cochran can oversell from almost any position...in the OJ case his closing argument took excessive aim at Mark Fuhrman's racism....that was the pitch needed to discredit the entire police department's investigation.

Heard's team failed to oversell in the closing but desperately needed to. They were not good closers. They also needed to rein Amber in from overselling on the stand. Whether its truthful or not, when a witness oversells, they are not doing any justice for their case in terms of wanting to win.
