beer - Depends on the food. Chilli crab! *yum*. Draught first though.. bottle second. Cans taste yucky, no matter what the type.

Champagne's a nice toasting drink, though I made myself sick of champagne in a weeklong run-up of parties into the new year.

Wines, always. Red, white. Nothing like a good bottle with good friends, and good conversation, with lovely crystal glasses that clink and resonate *tingggggg*. I've bottles I've cellared from >5 years ago, still sleeping soundly.
I find as I get older, I don't drink to wasted like in college, but more to mellow down. On that note, I can't do vodka much now - too much in college.
