I'm sick with a cold and depressed. Can't sleep. boohoo. I hate being sick and want to punch someone in the face. Somehow I just know this will help me feel better.
Ordered pizza from crappy Dominos last night online so I wouldn't have to "talk" to a live person. I've done this before, no problem. Tonight, however wasn't problem free. After placing the online order some pleb called and mumbled something on vm that I couldn't understand. I didn't hear the phone ring bc I had the ringer off so when he called again I missed it, again. I immediately called back and was placed on hold for 5 minutes until some bim answered the phone and told me that they needed to confirm my order and since I didn't pick up the second time the ordered was canceled. I told her that by placing the order online I was hoping to avoid having an actual conversation and that having to confirm the order by phone defeats the purpose of placing an online order! She mumbled something and I told her that was idiotic and hung up. Oh and we were charged so now I have to call them today and bitch them out about that. How's that for avoiding people?
Wound up having the turkey sandwich I bought at walmart earlier and the kids had chicken nuggets and ramen noodles (their favorite). Husband was grouchy b/c I didn't answer the phone but said he hates pizza anyway, blah blah blah. He wound up getting nasty fried chicken from Bojangles (puke) while I tried to sleep *cough cough* I hate being sick.
