Aloneliness
I toss and turn, cry out in a sweat.
You push me away.
Aloneliness.
Trying to hold you,
When things are tough.
Indifference the killer.
Enough is enough.
This wall you’ve erected,
Between tenderness.
Why can’t you feel it?
Aloneliness.
Each trouble you take so personally.
The demons within you have won.
My heart can’t feel you loving me.
It’s over before its begun.
Trapped inside this emptiness,
With Feelings that I can’t forget.
Random acts of unkindness,
Cut so deep.
Aloneliness.
My heart cries out! My soul it weeps!
My eyes say all the rest.
Together but living our separate lives.
One word...Aloneliness.
