Aktion T4 reveals the Nazi nature of social Darwinism.
Nazis decided that supporting disabled people costs too much money and decided to do some cost cutting. Among methods used was starvation, lethal injection and gassing.

Modern nazi social Darwinists usually promote particularly cowardly stealth genocide - mainly through starvation, malnutrition, exposure and lack of medical care.
They use language like "personal responsibility", "earning a living" , "useless eaters", "burden" to promote genocide of the most vulnerable people out there and unfortunately they are freely given platform by press, television and social media.

It's not acceptable to advocate starving people for skin colour but advocating starving people for disabilities is considering acceptable. This shows that in many modern societies nazism was completely normalised. Nazis often appear even in "woke" spaces. Saying all the words but then going mask off and talking about "burden", "useless losers", etc.

Many societies have openly embraced nazi social Darwinism and are starving disabled people or torturing them with poverty. Denazification by any means is necessary.

Nazi social Darwinists are promoting genocide of disabled people and in the face of genocide all morality becomes ambiguous.

Unfortunately "social Darwinism" tends to get lumped in with assorted right wing fascist bullshit such as cultural Marxism, white genocide and anything else the smooth brained rubes lap up like dogs.

I don't see why it should. It's a real ideology.

Perhaps culture war obfuscates the issue, concealing the fact that plenty of fundamentalist Christians are essentially social Darwinists.

Oh I know it's a real ideology - COVID should have made it very clear how society looks at the disabled and chronically ill, if it wasn't already obvious to most people. But in the US, the term itself is simply lumped in with the other right wing conspiracies even though it's likely part of the foundations of right wing/GOP attacks on healthcare, disability or workers comp insurance and so on. Fascists of every strain have used this ideology to kill off the "undesirables" - either by neglect or outright murder in the past. No reason they won't try again.

Yeah I think the attitude towards Covid makes a lot of sense in light of this. It's in line with what they have been saying for years before Trump. People have for a long time been saying they see this as a desirable state of affairs openly without really getting any pushback on it.
