This is not be a big deal for most people, but considering I have been a vegetable outside of work for a while(and often at work), it is a big deal for me.

The kitchen is almost done. One of the bathrooms is clean. I picked up my mail from the post-office and it should resume next week (man, I got a lot of junk-mail even though I explicitly called to opt-out). I shaved, payed some of my bills(need to find my utilities bill before we get power and water cut)...and even "started" on my taxes.

I got back my grades (the worst quarter I've had--really flubbed some tests), and need
to get the reimbursement for the one class I actually managed a B on. Next quarter's payment is due Tuesday. I also need to file for re-reimbursement for my Oregon trip. I hate this crap, but everyone has to do it.

Definitely need to do laundry today. My co-workers are already wondering why I am so "dressy" lately. Some are wondering if I am interviewing with alternate groups (I was, but that's beside the point).

Want to go get a hair-cut too since it has been sometime.

I may tackle the mess in the master bedroom and bathroom next weekend.

When I try to reclaim my motivation, cleaning the house often seems like a great first step. I've come to the conclusion that it's a bad idea, though. Progress in anything is good, of course, but if I only have enough motivation for a burst, I think I should be doing something that will create a snowball effect. When I use my burst of motivation to clean, I'm often dead again by the time I'm done. And then my place just gets messy again for a couple of months.
