Ok, so I'm kinda crossposting from the old style blog, but here again is the picture I took the other day

Today my bruises are increasingly impressive... I must have given myself an almighty thump when I slipped over on the rocks shortly after taking this. The problem was not being able to get my arm down to stop my fall, so I landed on my shoulder and hip without cushioning. I'm quite proud of my clumsiness in retrospect, my balance is usually excellent, and suddenly falling over was quite a novelty.

Being back home after a week away is a surreal kind of experience. Initially it feels like a novelty, then soon it settles into comfortable normality.

It's cold, cold, cold here. Rainy and windy, with a bit of sleet in the air. This is the earliest Easter since 1913, and it shows.

Happy Easter!

Beautiful picture, Geoff!! Thanks for sharing it.

(at the expense of your fall, no less!)

I hope your bruises swell down soon, and it's always fun to leave the home for a week ;)

Where did you take that picture?

That is quite a vision. I'm so jealous. Stream flowing over rocks surrounded by moss and ferns in shaded woodland. I wouldn't mind building a small cabin there and becoming a hermit.

You poor poor dear. You had to go from that beautiful paradise back to cold wet England? Are you traumatized?

Hi again all..

Tallulah : The picture is from the Brecon Beacons in South Wales.. it is a waterfalls trail on the foothills of the mountains.

Marmalade : A little traumatised, but nothing a little Easter chocolate didn't fix!

I've always wondered how people get the water to look like that. Something to do with how long the aperture stays open, right? Beautiful photo.
