So we had Christmas at our place and it was pretty good and all, had all the usual holiday fixings and stuff. And so in the past I've typically gotten really tired towards the end of a night, but that hasn't happened in the past... little while. It's nothing shocking but I've noticed it in myself and so it surprises me. I wasn't playing hostess or anything, I just sat around and took in a lot of the conversation and sort of struck up conversation as well, and I did ask anyone if they needed anyone/anything...
This isn't some groundbreaking post or anything but yesterday, and reflecting on it today I'm like, a totally different person. My mom can act really outgoing but she is very scheduled and routine and on top of things and towards the end of the dinner (understandably so), she was tired. And so after everyone had gone we sat in the living room for awhile and then I went to my room and eventually I fell asleep. I wasn't actively thinking, "I need to go to my room and be alone, I'm so exhausted", it was just an end of the night thing for me.
IDK, I'm oddly proud of myself.
