Yes, that’s based on the AZ call, though most now view it as premature. Much more likely to win PA imo. Biden is performing a few points better across the board, and the remaining ballots are more than enough to put him over the top. This election was somewhere in between 2016 and 2018 in terms of expectations, journey, and final result. That initial Florida/Ohio breakdown, leading people to think Trump/Reps were on track to win, and the a shift back toward Dems. Obviously R’s did relatively well in house and Senate, but when this is said and done it might not be particularly close between Biden and Trump (better than 2004 and 2000).

What might be the takeaway? Neither Trump nor the woke-left are good paths for our country. Some sort of return to normalcy/centrism.
I agree with that sentiment. I haven't really heard people say any rave reviews about Biden but moreso as the Anti-Trump. And I have heard people voting for Trump because of their strong dislike of Harris. So it doesn't sound like ringing endorsements for either side.

GOP Boy Wonder cracked the Democrats' nefarious plan, to influence the election by ...voting?

Amazing what happens when people can actually easily vote during a pandemic.

Note that if they'd count these votes early, then they would have already been folded into the count and they'd never tell the different between in person and mail. This gets so tiresome. A vote is a vote is a vote. It doesn't matter when it was counted, only whether it was cast in the appropriate time period.

Haven't you been riding the fence quite a bit for Trump for the last several months?
Kind of. He's my preferred candidate of the two party system on a policy level, but I'm not going to pretend that half the population that hates him doesn't exist, or that they're "bad" people just because they have a different worldview. I like compromise, even if it's accidental.

Yay for centrism.

Centrists have achieved many great reforms like the Defense of Marriage Act, Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, Three Strikes You’re Out Laws, Minimum Mandatory Sentencing Laws, and too many other excellent laws to list

Some people can passionately advocate for a side while also finding contentment in defeat (or mixed results). Even I was similarly open to a Trump presidency in 2016, but quickly soured against him. I’m not sure if people who are either supporters or ambivalent about Trump truly understand how unacceptable and awful he is to the other side. Like, one of the worst people you could possibly pick to be president. I’d be nice if they could live in some alternate reality where he was doing all the same things but advocating for a radical leftist agenda. I suspect they might have assassinated him. It isn’t just some TDS, it’s a legitimate concern for our country.

I suppose so. To me, given the magnitude of vastly different ideals between the two opposing sides, it comes across as disingenuous bandwagoning now that a defeat seems imminent. If the tables were turned, I can only imagining how he'd be rubbing our faces in defeat despite the claims of a blue wave washing over the country. I like your answer, though. Let's roll with that, for now.

If it's a movie about Moscow Mitch, I think it'd be negligent to downplay his Vogon diarrhea-ness.

In the interest of capturing authenticity, at some point in the film we have to capture footage of him engaging in the lamb blood feasting ritual that sustains him.

Or, via picture-in-picture, we could show how his creepy-ass smile is proportionately related to the non-stop footage of memories of engaging in the lamb blood feasting ritual constantly playing in his head; the gorier the sacrifice, the bigger his smile.

eta: And a second picture-in-picture to really bring home the point about diarrhea.

Can we have some Germans or something count our votes instead? xD

You might be mostly joking but there were international observers of the OSCE present (as is customary) and the head of the observers happens to be German.

The international observers said there were no irregularities.
