Apples and oranges, really. Remember, you thought the Ukraine thing would blow over like all the other scandals. Yet it is now rather obvious that Trump will be impeached, perhaps even before Christmas.

Yes, but it doesn't seem that it will pass the Senate, what makes it almost pointless. My argument was that all of this is a dead end scandal (and we still didn't reach the end). What I said is that if a month from now GOP and Trump fans still support him that basically means that the party managed to find a new balance and they will regroup. (what seem to be the general case) Until I see GOP and fans mass trashing Trump democrats have basically nothing and I don't see them doing that. At best Dems can hope that this will tilt 2020, what is probably the master plan at this point.

Call me delusional but I just don't see all of this as if something really big is going on. We have all these hearings and trials for years at this point and nothing is fundamentally changing. Except general rise of frustration.

To be a scandal it would have to rise above partisanship. Hasn't yet.

Sadly, you are delusional. Impeachment hearings began in October, and they will end in impeachment. The third one ever. By all standards, that is significant, whether the cowards in the Senate remove Trump or not.

You should really try to get out of your bubble. The whole world is watching, and the only people on Trump's side are brainwashed Fox viewers and GOP members of Congress.

You know what they say about people who live in bubble houses, right?

Its painfully obvious to any trump supporter that the whole impeachment thing is politically motivated. Or just rage/revenge for 2016 motivated. Either way- you guys are the only ones that care about the impeachment thing.

I'm neither a Democrat nor an American, honey. I live on another continent: I represent the outside, where everybody regards Trump's followers as pathetic fools.

He doesn't realize how many registered and former Republicans think Trump is a total piece of shit who fucked up the entire country.

He probably does, actually. He's just a troll who gets off on pretending the world is flat.

Most of them still think a Democrat would fuck it up worse.

Not sure that's a fair or accurate assessment.

What interest has a foreigner in american politics?
I can tell you what interest I have in whatever-country-you're-from's politics.

Are you waiting for Tucker Carlson to tell you?

Well, for the time being, the US is still a pretty important actor in international politics. Sure, Trump is doing his best to make way for Putin and China, but, having grown up in a more stable world, I have a certain fondness of the 'Western world'.

Former GOP Rep. David Jolly: ‘We Might Be Better Off’ If Democrats Win The House
“We have a president who very well might put the nation at risk and this Republican Congress has done nothing to check his power.”

Whatever you say, bub. ;)

I wish Fox News viewers could see how the rest of the world views Donald Trump, just for a day. Bush Jr. was a superstar compared with him.

Kind of like how American settlers wished the Native American cultures could see Jesus like they did?

What are you, anyway? A registered Independent, or one of those newly minted Republicans who aren't really Republicans, but merely shitheads who like to yell MAGA!!!?

As opposed to the Freedom Fries Republicans?
