What is your argument for ESTP?

He is like Gordon Ramsey and Andrew Flintoff energy-wise which are both ESTP 8w7s. He isn't going to seem like the typical 7w8 ESTP stereotype that there is out there.

I think Trump is definitely an Ambivert. ENTP, or ENTJ

He is very patient when he isn't debating. He thinks about what he says very carefully, and simply so it sticks in one's mind. He is strategic beyond what most people think. This man, is a master of the political "Art of War".

Agreed he's an ESTP but disagree on his enneagram type. He's a 7w8 since his primary focus is excessive, conspicuous consumption.

I use to think he was a 7w8 until I actually saw one of his videos. A 8w7 ESTP can have an exceptionally strong 7 wing but he is more instinctual than head in his energy. Look at Gordon Ramsey and Andrew Flintoff since they are also 8w7 ESTPs.

I've watched Trump. He's so not an 8w7. Consider.

Enneagram 7

  • Basic Fear: Of being deprived and in pain
  • Basic Desire: To be satisfied and content—to have their needs fulfilled
  • Enneagram Seven with a Six-Wing: "The Entertainer"
  • Enneagram Seven with an Eight-Wing: "The Realist"

Enneagram 8

  • Basic Fear: Of being harmed or controlled by others
  • Basic Desire: To protect themselves (to be in control of their own life and destiny)
  • Enneagram Eight with a Seven-Wing: "The Maverick"
  • Enneagram Eight with a Nine-Wing: "The Bear"

Trump fits the basic desire and fear of an enneatype seven like a glove. Consider his entire life, not the short term shit show of a presidency.

Also, Gordon Ramsey's an ESTJ, 8w7. How you can tell is the manner in which he explains his cooking. It's painful detail, one step at a time, where there's only one way to handle the process with one result.

Don't know and don't care about Flintoff.

I didn't suggest that you didn't. I just meant that I thought that he was a 7w8 prior to watching him.

I fit the 8's basic desire like a glove but i'm still a 9w8. People can have strong wings. We can agree to disagree at this point.

Where you people are getting Letterman is an E is beyond me. Next thing you know, someone will claim Colbert is an E.
