Chuggin' right on alone with my P90X. I was thinking I'd change the difficulty and go for broke with a classic routine for the next two weeks.

I'm starting P90x back up again as soon as school ends. I've had zero time in the last 3 weeks? to go to the gym, and I feel so out of shape because of it.

I found even when the gym was super close to my house (5min drive) and cheap ($10 a month) that it took longer to go to the gym than to work out at home.

I like fitnessblender and sugarpop on youtube because they have videos ranging from 5 minutes long to 1h30m long. Even if you have like zero time just taking 5 minutes to stretch or to do some push ups and pull ups can go a long way. :)

I really like P90x though.. I think the 1 hr segments are long enough to build real endurance.

Isnt that a weapon P90 ?

 Turns you into one too. It's the eXtreme P90!!!!

Is it a diet? No diet works for me... I bench press 95 kg now and still look like a ton

no noo no. I don't diet. It's a work out routine at home. I think it's very well designed, and has a lot of opportunity for breaks, modifications, and pacing yourself while also pushing you to challenge yourself and giving you options for harder things too. I build up some pretty good foundation muscle whenever I do this program. It runs typically on 90 day cycles, but I do it differently--2 weeks of the 'easier' program, 3 weeks of the normal one, 2 weeks of the more intense one, and 1 week of the easy program again.

Ah ok, ya well workout I dont need, I am pretty strong. Walked for 8 monthes on crotches now, cause I broke my knee after a bad move in climbing. Tibiahead fracture Shatzker V, very sucky thing. Gut I got lucky and recovered pretty well. Left quadriceps tho is still 3 cm shorter than right. I just started running again, but its still a pain in the knee.

Physically I am at 89 kg and 18% body fat, I just cant get rid of that body fat. I am very strong stronger than most and I have quite the endurance, muscle soreness dont even know what that is. But the fat, I dont get rid of it. I dieted down to 78 kg beginning of 2015 and my friends ask me if I got cancer. That wasnt good. Now I everyday always eat only around 2500 - 3500 kcal and I am holding my weigth constantly. But the fat wont burn. That low-carb shit I get headaches from and spending the days without steak, no way. I guess there is no hope for me :)

Your calorie intake is actually pretty decent if you're an active person.. Do you perchance eat a high fat diet? A low carb diet isn't really a good idea imo... But a well balanced once with vegetables starring the show is something I think a lot of people have trouble making an adjustment to.. Vegetables are a "side dish" for most people, at least here in America.. and Germany tended to have a very meat-potatoes sort of eating style when I was there anyways.. of course, I only saw it from the eat-at-restaurants aspect so I'm not 100% sure..

I've been watching my dad struggle with DM2 and it's not an easy task, and one that seems to be overall fairly rewarding whether you have health issues or not to take in a bit less sugar.

This year, I hope to re-calibrate my cooking style so that I'm eating home cooked meals for every single meal besides 1/2 of my breakfasts (cereal) + 1 night and 1 cheap day out to eat a week.

I'd like to aim for lower sodium intakes and sugar intakes as well, but I think focusing more on fruits and veggies are the way to go for me overall. I sort of re-vamped my spice rack to have sodium-free low-sugar seasonings.

As far as excerise.. I want to change it up, do 3x a week of 1-hour to 1 1/2 hour long sessions, followed by 2x a week of 20-30 minute sessions + stretching for 30 minutes, and 1x a week of 10-15 minute work outs plus a 40+ min stretching work out, with a day off to wiggle around. I really need to focus on my flexibility.. and while I think I need to improve on my running and cardio, I don't think I'm really going to start on that until it's warmer out. Definitely not in Jan/Feb when it's miserably cold out. So, for now, I need to really focus on my hips and back and legs.

May I suggest the book Becoming A Supple Leopard? Becoming a Supple Leopard 2nd Edition: The Ultimate Guide to Resolving Pain, Preventing Injury, and Optimizing Athletic Performance: Kelly Starrett, Glen Cordoza: 9781628600834: Amazon.com: Books

Im not gonna lie, that's a hella creep title. Seems like it's based on the NASM book, which I found to be an excellent read and what I'm probably going to be basing my channel on.

Are people still using Habitica?

I just joined.

I'm taking a short break from it due to my recent move, but the group is pretty damn active otherwise!

There's a list of things that I want to do, but to varying success.

1. Portion control. This is the killer. The food in camp is so laughably bad and unhealthy that I refuse to eat it unless I'm starving. Because of that, I don't eat much in the day but I binge at night. When I go to the gym, I hardly have any energy for a proper workout because I'm so lethargic and light-headed.

2. Speaking of gym, or exercise in general, I want to up the frequency of my exercise routine. Unlike most people, I do not find exercise remotely enjoyable. To me, it's a bunch of simple movements with no nuance or any brainpower required to do them. It is mindlessly boring. But I do it so that I can wake up more easily in the morning, and maybe if I'm skinny enough, I can get the guy of my dreams. Anyway, I have trouble sticking to doing it often enough. Any ideas on what kinds of workouts would be suitable for me? I like them in short bursts, with a lot of variety in the workouts. However, I much prefer learning dance routines because there is a learning curve to it.

3. Snacking. Related to point 1. I get hungry in the day that I resort to snacking on crap food that doesn't fill me.

With that being said, can anyone give me suggestions on interesting, fast-paced workouts that is somewhat easy to pick up but hard to master? Replies appreciated.
