I love music in all its genres - with the exception of rap, hip-hop, some pop, and most country - other than that, I'm pretty tolerant of all types of music. I absolutely adore Broadway show tunes and I am in love with Romantic era music (classical and baroque and impressionistic as well, and anything else in that category, but especially Romantic). Opera interests me, but through experience dealing with aspiring opera singers I have grown a bit less fond of it. The music is still beautiful, though! I also adore classic rock and classic heavy metal, and grunge. I like reggae, too. Most of the artists I listen to are relatively older. My favorites are Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Johnny Cash, any of Eric Clapton's bands, Metallica, Iron Maiden, etc.

One of my all-time favorite classical (loose term) composers is Brahms. God, his pieces are lovely. He really is a genius.

The most amazing thing to me is Broadway music. Anything that tells a legitimate story in a Broadway show - it's my life and my dream! I can't wait to make it.
