Yeah, my problem is that you're stuck with one color then. And while I love that color, it doesn't work with all the styles of clothes I like to wear. So I'm contemplating adding some extensions when I feel like being quirky, and keeping it lavender-free the rest of the time
You have to coordinate your clothing purchases with your hair. My hair has had some form of hot pink for several years now. My closet primarily exists of pink, purple, blacks and greys. All colors that would work with pink. And for lavender, blues would probably work as well.
Green is an ugly color anyway. Who needs green clothes?
I wish I could do pink hair.

My hair is so dark its like brown-black. Le sigh. Blondes have more fun because they have more options.
My hair is very dark brown. Ive bleached my whole head before.
Granted, it seems to me that my hair is A LOT more resilient than other people's. I have chemically raped my hair with perm solution, gotten it straightened, dyed it dark, bleached it blonde, redyed it... Over and over in relatively short periods of time, and my hair has never shown any signs of damage.
I used to do the Rogue (Xmen) look. With the two white streaks in the very front? And when I say white, I don't mean blonde. I got that shit white white white. And I ended up using this strong crazy bleach that I found at a store that was intended for black girls hair which is a lot thicker/darker/coarser. The sales lady looked at me and was like, "Honey if you put that on your thin white girl hair, it gonna catch on fire."

After about 6 months of that, my hair finally showed signs of some dryness/breaking. That was the only time Ive managed to injure my hair.
