I'm kind of like your psychiatrist friend. To most outsiders I'm very Ti heavy, and I don't joke around too much. To my family and close friends I can be very Ne heavy and tease and argue a lot. They get a bit annoyed by how I act when I'm my true self.

Who? Your family or outsiders?

Oh, well I was going to say that your parents being that way is extremely normal. As I told a cousin once who remarked on how stern and overbearing his father is but that his father was so jovial and carefree around his friends/coworkers: "Well, no s**t. They're his friends, and you're his son. That's you're dad. That's his job."

That sounds quite like an ENTp to me, for what that's worth.

Still think you're ENTP after all these years. Though I do see where the strong case for INTP is coming from now.
