Hey guys. I didn't think I'd be back this early, but I've gotten my life more together so I'll be around some. Anyways, I'm curious to know what you guys think my family's types are (even though I think I know myself). It might help me with my nature/nurture question, too. Here you go.

Dad
-Orderly
-Plans ahead and gets things done on time
-Hardworking
-Goofy, tells great puns and jokes
-Good-natured
-Frugal and responsible with money
-Funny, good actor
-Hates wasting things
-Fishes for compliments, wants validation
-Extremely hard on self
-Calls himself lazy when relaxing, always feels like there's more work to be done
-Can be very morbid/melancholic
-No-frills, not very interested in extravagance
-Can talk and ramble on for long periods of time
-Has a great memory
-Enjoys random trivia, specifically history and geography
-Fairly sensitive and cares a lot about what people think of him
-Skeptical
-Relates to people
-Not a huge socializer or party person, would rather stay in and have a beer while watching the history channel
-Self-described introvert
-Values security and reliability, wants things spelled out
-Affectionate and loyal to the family

Mom
-Chatty and friendly
-Loves small talk and knows how to engage strangers (she's been known to find out people's allergies and SAT scores within minutes of knowing them in a grocery store, haha)
-Dedicated and works hard
-Shuts down in conflict, avoids it
-Wholesome, "get your mind out of the gutter" kind of person, religious
-Inventive
-Spatially-oriented--she knows how to pack everyone's bags and make things fit
-Loves math, especially geometry
-Forgetful
-Very kind and welcoming, she greets all our new neighbors with baked goods
-Traditional
-One of the most selfless people I know
-Has strong responses to things, fairly excitable
-Doesn't like talking too much about serious or upsetting things
-Puts up with so many people's shit (I feel bad sometimes) and still manages to stay sane
-Soft-hearted and can be swayed by emotional appeals
-Indulges in food and shopping
-Buys things we don't always need (to my dad's chagrin)
-Is tactful, but is not shy about complaining (sending food back, asking for refunds, correcting people)
-Easily impressed

Brother
-Polite and diplomatic
-Loves to learn anything and everything, studies in his spare time
-Math and science oriented, especially theoretical physics
-Does not always speak his mind
-Subtle, intelligent sense of humor
-Emotionally restrained
-Cultured (fine cuisine, classical music)
-Very skeptical
-Great student
-Sarcastic
-Annoyed with silly, unnecessary, incorrect, or inefficient systems
-Follows rules but sometimes quietly circumvents or cuts corners
-Doesn't want to cause conflict
-Spends time helping others (tutoring)
-Cares about world issues and the state of humanity
-Informed
-Known for being exceedingly intelligent and a good, friendly person
-Doesn't talk about feelings
-Logical and systematic
-Wants to gain knowledge just for the sake of it (teaches himself new languages and recipes, experiments with weird math or computer problems)

Sister
-Deeply values bravery and courage
-Not warm or friendly
-Doesn't care much about people, but is faultlessly loyal to her close friends/family
-Tough
-Doesn't self-advocate (talking about feelings, explaining needs, complaining at restaurants, making phone calls)
-Can blow up and be aggressive--tolerates conflict and stress
-Simultaneously wants to avoid conflict
-Can have trouble saying no
-Intense need to belong and feel appreciated in close social circle
-Doesn't want to be seen as weak
-Aloof and distant--enjoys being an outsider and values her space
-Independent, lone wolf
-Anxious, can jump to hasty conclusions
-Sometimes has irrational beliefs about how people view her
-Hates being cooped up in the house all day, needs to get out, "I want to go somewhere"
-Extremely deep and insightful
-Impulsive with money, always buying new things and going into debt
-Often materialistic
-Explains herself through analogies and parallels
-Strives for impartiality
-Always physically active, a bit of a daredevil
-Hates immaturity and most people her age
-Good person, but not a nice person
-Observes but does not interact
-Private (she has like a million security features and passwords for each app on her phone, even though nobody even looks at it)
-Doesn't like feelings

Thanks for reading! :)

Sounds accurate. I don't know about Fe or Te for my dad. And my brother could be NiTe or TiNe...maybe.

I think my sister is some sort of 8, 5, or 6.

Your brother sounds INTx. I'd lean INTP based on what you described.

Your parents seem really like SJs! Your dad seemed ESTJ until you said about being an introvert so maybe ISxJ, and I think SFJ for your mother.
brother - IxTP at a guess
sister - ISTP
