Why is even deceitfulness-arrogance considered to be a part of toxic-masculinity. Isn't it stereo-typically feminine?
Usually I see manipulativeness associated with women/the feminine. I suppose deceit can be part of that, but not arrogance. Women over the years have resorted to this because they often get slapped down when they try to employ the more direct approaches favored by men. Favored by men unless the direct approach comes from a woman. It isn't "ladylike", and how dare she try to assert herself anyway.

I said it would matter to some degree if anybody in my (currently hypothetical) friend group were gay because I'd want to know which women I might have a chance with. Giggity. :p

And yeah, some of it does seem kind of dumb. :shrug:
