Jimi Hendrix is my ideal for the ISFP artist and what I strive for. He is an other-worldly sage, but you can't dismiss his sensory, in-the-moment prowess as secondary in any possible way. This is what I try to describe about the whole inner Fi-Ni thing being extremely abstract, but still surrounding that pure sensation.

I've read that the lyrics to Purple Haze come from a scifi story he was writing

I love psychedelic rock! I've never done acid or mushrooms, I just like the aesthetics and imaginative possibilities.

Never was much for hippy dippy music but these harmonies are really well done. And the blonde chick was kind of hot. So yeah.

I heard a wizard calling in the distance.

*looks at thread*

Oh man! You know I eat this shit up The Grey Wizard! Stop trying to disturb my slumber! :nono: :D

For hippie-esque music, I much prefer '60s/'70s psychedelia and folk. Not a fan of jam bands and reggae. And once in a while I enjoy some guilty pleasure bubblegum pop songs that contains hippie lingo like "love" and "groovy" in it.

Some I like...

Hawkwind - Assault and Battery Part I and The Golden Void Part II

Love - The Red Telephone

Neil Young - Cinnamon Girl

The West Coast Pop Art Experiment - Eighteen Is Over the Hill

Van der Graaf Generator - Afterwards

Donovan - Hurdy Gurdy Man

Jesus Christ, I can't control myself. Someone help.

Here are some more modern hippie-ish bands/songs, wherever they would fit. It's not just the '60s and '70s, you know. :)

Spacemen 3 - Mary Anne

The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Ballad of Jim Jones

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Crying

Ty Segall and White Fence - I Am Not a Game

Well back to the coffin I go. See ya. *vanishes in a puff of black smoke*

I used to listen to this after school. Need better-sounding version, though:

If anyone finds an outstanding old version of Fool on the Hill, please post it.
