Seriously, the Broncos? With the pre-season hype and intrigue I had for them, I thought I'd buy low and sell high. Now, it looks like I paid too high and it's a bear market.

The best part of the downfall of Russell Wilson has been the meme it has spawned:

There's a strong chance franchises move past incidents like this, but my inkling is that Draymond Green is done with the Warriors. Golden State absorbed his antics because they liked him as an attack dog for other teams. But, what he did to Jordan Poole? And after the video came out? That changes things.

Would you like proof that capitalism is imperfect?

Jeff Bezos actually paid money for games like these.

That the Eagles have two first round picks next season is pretty insane.

I did not agree with that holding call in the Chiefs final drive of the Superbowl....he touched the back of schuster's shirt, may have even grabbed it for a moment but holding him....to the extent there was any delayed movement the touch was inconsequential to the outcome of the play. The game could have gone without that call.

Be that as it may, Mahomes put together another winning drive which is par for the course, like he did against Buffalo last year in the playoffs. Mahomes and Brady have different styles but a similar ability to win in the final few minutes (even minute) when the chips are down....that kind of ability just can't be taught even to top-tier qbs.

I'm surprised there was no live posting here during the super bowl. Perhaps there aren't many members interested in football.

The call in and of itself was a legit call -- even Bradberry said he was getting handsy but he thought the refs weren't going to call it. Was it the right call in the superbowl? That's a point of contention.

Mahomes is a hall of famer already if he never plays another down of football, and has already solidified himself as one of the all-time greats. That said, the Chiefs are officially the Golden State Warriors of the NFL; every other fan base is going to hate them going forward and every team is going to give them their very best even when it isn't of much consequence.

I don't think it was the right call in any game. Bradberry did say he tugged on the jersey, but it was a rather weak tug. I don't blame him for taking the high road and not wanting to sit around blaming a call, but from what I saw and I had no stake in the outcome other than to watch some great football there was no pressure, lasted for a brief moment and created no obstruction to the outcome of the play...as in, substantively it did not function in a manner to be considered holding another player.

Mahomes has many games ahead of him and is the best scrambling quarterback of all time in my book. This season sold me on Mahomes more than the last two seasons as a natural winner when the chips are down because I got to see him play without Tyreek Hill, and I'm big on that....if a top-rated quarterback can lose a great wide receiver and still take his team to the Superbowl and win, that's quite an accomplishment. A lot of top-rated quarterbacks would crash and burn if you took away with their best wide receiver (s).

How long do you all think it will be until the Superbowl is pay-per-view?

I'm not. My dad was into stuff like track and field, cycling, and boxing, so sportsball was just never a thing in our household.

Finals outcome that I want: Any that doesn't involve the Warriors.

I think of all possible outcomes, I'd like a Nuggets-Sixers Finals.
