further thoughts on the shotgun effect:

the key to the shotgun effect is to be a natural extrovert with social "skills"... most often the prime social skill is deception... it is possible to try this over and over withought those skills, but that most often results in an introvert failing... there just isn't a good place for people like me to meet women... that is why i say it isn't worth the effort... i am not willing to manipulate people in the way required to make these tactics time effective, and even if i was willing chances are i would suck at it... sure if i was was to bang my head against a wall, eventually something would happen but what is the point? most often these tactics lead to one night stands at best... meeting people through friends or just hoping women walk up and talk to me is my method of choice... it's slower, but at least i don't feel like a failure when it doesn't work...
