Unsurprising, seeing as how some groups believe that fossils were placed to test our faith. This is just a specific case of that, no?

Are you absolutely sure this isn't a hoax of some sort? A few years ago there was #cut4bieber thing to make Bieber fans look stupid. Then there's the "free-bleeding" brainchild of 4chan designed to smear SJWs.

But then again, we have the things like the Flat Earth Society...

I don't think it's a hoax unless it's a realllly clever one. I've had three separate Christians actually talk to me about their disbelief in dinosaurs on three separate occasions. If it is a hoax it's pretty impressive. (I do live in the Midwest though, so that might explain it...)

for fucks sake, even the Creation Museum believes in dinosaurs!

however, I can't say it shocks me particularly because there's pretty much someone who believes anything

This second infographic explains how the atheist dinophile expresses their sexuality through pornography, self loathing and violence.

don't you know? Evolution is a myth! Clearly all that's existed and will ever exist came KA-BAM into the universe in 7 days flat!

Soooo many flashbacks to Catholic school right there....it's pretty weird to think that there's literally evidence right in front of our noses that clearly shows that dinosaurs existed, but some people are just so submissive to a viewpoint that they're at a loss for logic :/

There are people that don't believe in evolution, and people who believe their religion forbids them from taking modern medicine. Why is this that shocking? We have proof that contradicts a lot of popular beliefs, but people continue to latch on.

my doctor doesn't believe in evolution.

This would make for great reality TV. I fully support a Jurassic Park style attraction to see this premise come to fruition.

I was thinking it would've made a fun 1980s sitcom, equal parts trash and treasure.

No it doesn't.
Only people who already hate Christianity would hold it against Christians as a whole.

In a way you have a point. The way I look at it though, it's similar to the belief of homosexuality being a choice and not something which is inborn. It's bad because right wing beliefs and erroneous biblical interpretations which are contrary to common sense draw people away from religion and not towards it.

What are you talking about?
You're out of your depth.

You do realize that you're comparing these people to some of the primates of the Anglican church?

No surprise there, dinosaurs and all other species from Earth's past are in direct collision with religion. What religion litterally says can't be true if you accept the idea that Earth is 4.6 billion years old.

The only problem for religion is that there is plenty of evidence that Earth is pretty old: fossils, position and moving of continents, positions of fossil species on those continents, geochemical laws, position of mountain chains on the continents, etc. Therefore you can defiend religion only on two ways, first is that sacred books are just a interepretation of truth and the other is that god did all of these datails to tests people's faith.

The science story starts at 2:00

Plus I will post this as well.
