Default So>Sp stackings vs Sp>So stackings

this is a general pattern I've noticed that seems to be true 90%+ of the time

So>Sp types (So doms and Sx/So)
    - want people to take an active role in each others' lives.
    - prefer to reach out to and involve people
    - prefer to mix business work with social interaction

Sp>So types (Sp doms and Sx/Sp)
    - keep to themselves more.
    - want people to mind their own business and leave them the f*ck alone (though they may be still be inter-personally friendly)
    - more formal style of business. they prefer to fulfill their agreed obligations and then get back to their private lives

Meh, not really in my case. I suppose I semi-agree with those in theory but don't follow through with them much at all. I am a rather shy and anti-social So-first.

Seems fairly accurate from my experience of the types.

Going by this, I'm definitely an SP>SO rather than a SO>SP. I know some people on here have typed me as SO>SP.

I started out thinking you were more So/Sp, but, after taking a closer look at the variants, you seem more Sp/So. So/Sp tends to be more out in the real world, picking up on "what's going on" and trying to somehow utilize it while Sp/So is more quietly dutiful and, while they may desire to contribute to society, they general tend to keep to themselves and don't like people butting into their business.

Yes, this is precisely why I think sp/so.

These are great! Although there are many times I want people to mind their own business and leave me the fuck alone...but I jive with 3/3 of the so>sp characteristics and only 1/3 sp>so characteristics. But what can I say, a guy needs his space sometimes.

I really think your narrow focus with So is flawed, you seem to restrict it to those who use it in a positive inclusive manner, or maybe the areas you have as blindspots as a So-laster. It perpetuates stereotypes about So. So doms can struggle with sociability and be downright anti-social.

If the above was the way to determine So v Sp then I would come out as Sp.

I'm not usually a fan of tying behaviors to types, but this jives pretty well.

All of the bullets under both of those personally fit me. Then again, I'm very close to sp/so (the most descriptive stacking for me is .. "definitely sx last.")

I'd say that stacking describes what one pays attention to, for good or for bad. I know how people fit in with one another, because it's part of what I naturally pay attention to. How they affect me is a secondary (but important) characteristic. I'm aware of interrelationships, and want to establish decent and useful relationships with others. However, I'm not going to go out of my way to appease people who simply aren't a good match for me.

In contrast, I absolutely cherish alone time.
