As I said...I'm dabbling in magick in a more focused way than before. And since I have long desired to have a home to call my own and had to this point never found anything that came close I decided...well why the hell not? So I created a spell not so much for a house but more to help me find the right property. The result? Within 5 days of casting the spell not only did I find a home I liked but at a price I could afford and I put in an offer that was accepted. 5 Freaking days!

Here's what I did.

I cast a spell on my diamond ring. This was a piece of jewellery I bought several years ago as a kind of commitment to living my best life thing. It's a very pretty cluster diamond ring circa 1930's in white gold. I decided it was the perfect focus as it does somewhat remind one of the twinkling of a star, it's a personal effect of mine and the north star, is what we use to navigate the world. The logic was I would be making my own north star compass to help me find home.

Herbs used - I also used sprigs of ivy (home protector) and frangipani flowers (drawing power) floating in water as I cast the spell.

Sigil created - using the affirmation, the north star brings me home.

The spell was cast 1 day prior to the full moon. I found the property advertisement 2 days later, viewed the property 24hrs later and made the offer another 24hrs later with acceptance the next morning. Needless to say I'm quite blown away by the whole ordeal. I was thinking, oh yeah in a few months I would have a solid idea about what I'm looking for, maybe find the block of land to buy and take it slow. No, no. It all happened in the blink of an eye. So fast in fact that my finance wasn't even in place yet. I've been pre-approved for a certain spend so unless something goes horribly wrong with the valuation I should be fine.
