yeah I have the same issue with my Mac - though it does open when I right click on it and select 'open in new tab'. I have no idea why it does that - it's uploaded to Flickr, which is what Mac works with so...

it's likely a permissions thing. it will work for the owner if you're signed in to flickr but nobody else.
