I had a wonderful New Years.

Hubby and me and two good friends got together at our house and played some Talisman which is an adventure boardgame
with a heavy d&d flavor, ate pizza and salad and watched the ball drop and made resolutions and toasted to champagne and talked until the wee hours of the night or morning, lol.

My BFF stayed home and needed time in her sadness cave as it was her ex hubby's birthday. If anyone knows the value of needing to escape in the cave of sadness- the INFJ me can.

One of our friends crashed for the night and I made us all a nice breakfast.

My baby girl had a ball staying up and playing so late and welcomed in her first new years with joy.

I was really touched and amazed to see how much one of the friends opened up to me.

I also realized that I have been trying to find a place where I belong- a group whom I could feel were my tribe as it were and I realized that there is a tribe starting to form with me and hubby as the instigators. I have been very proactive the past couple of months and have been realizing the opportunities of people and am realizing more and more the meaningful
interactions taking place.

I am also realizing that I don't need to dream of what could be here- because things are already what my heart desires and it is wonderful and so appreciated.
