You're interested in RF circuits?

My RF professor mentioned that Armstrong's paper (which I believe the second set of figures is from) had "more integrals per sqaure inch than anything he had ever seen."

Nevermind. I just made out that it said "Fessenden" or something.

Those figures are basic diff. amps, some with rather crude ways to set the common mode.

Nevermind again. I think I need my eyes checked. Those elements that I thought were transistors, look like they are actually something else.

How old is that?

It almost looks like schematics drawn before they standardized symbols for circuit elements, or maybe I am just showing how much of n00b I am ad analog/RF.
