What if we were to compile statistics on who contributed to CO2 emissions and it pointed to some population as the responsible party in that respect? So what if the white people were at fault? Should we do a genocide on them? What if some other folks were found to be responsible? Should we do a genocide on them?
Where is the limitation of liabilities when we look on the burden that is upon each group of poeple?
p.s. If my personal burden becomes too intolerable, please show me the way to the nearest crematorium.
I'm sure that generalizing about an entire population on the basis of the colour of their skin would be hopelessly inaccurate.
Do all "white people" produce the same carbon footprint? I very much doubt it, there's no way that the average middle, lower or unpaid income white person has a carbon footprint equal to that of some millionaire with a private jet.
Like Greta has already said, its stupid to play those sorts of games, it is not numbers but behaviour that counts. The pandemic lockdown, the first one when every single person did as they ought and stayed home, most international travel was shut down etc. had a huge positive impact on the climate which proves it is a question of political will and nothing inevitable about it.
Finally, if there was any single population which is responsible for a carbon footprint on the scale you are talking about it would be the armed forces or combined militaries of the world, you want to genocide the military? Go ahead.
This is just ridiculous that the US political scene has boiled down to "everything is racism against white people, prove me wrong", how weak and fragile are white people in the US anyway?
