Neurotics build castles in the air, and psychotics live in them.

This means that neurotics fantasise. Fantasy is the lietmotif of neurosis.

Dr Freud originated analytic psychology, while Carl Jung continued with fantasy psychology.

Dr Freud helped us understand our fantasies, but Carl Jung exploited them.

But astrology and mbti are based on fantasy, they are not based on analytic psychology.

Both astrology and mbti are based on the fantasies of childhood, and will not help us achieve our life goals as grownups.

And fantasy is exploited by our society to sell goods, make propaganda for religions, cults, and ideologies, and for political purposes. We are encouraged to be neurotic rather than grow up.

And how interesting that on typology central we practise fantasy and follow Carl Jung, and we disrespect Dr Freud.

Mbti does not disrespect Freud in any way. Carl Jung merely had differing opinions than Mr. Freud. Freud may be the founder or the discoverer of the unconscious but Carl Jung was the founder of Analyticak Psychology.

Why you want to switch credentials makes no sense. It would disrespect both psychologists.

Carl Jung was in training with Dr Freud to gain his qualifications as a psychoanalyst. In training Carl Jung developed a father fixation on Dr Freud. Carl Jung had transferred his fixation on his own father, a Christian pastor, onto Dr Freud. This is called the transference, and Dr Freud experienced the counter-transference but did not respond to it, and rather than betraying the analysis, Dr Freud started to interpret the transference of Carl Jung.

The interpretation was intolerable to Carl Jung because he was suffering not from a neurosis but from a psychosis. And although neurosis are susceptible to analysis, psychosis are not suitable for analysis.

As a result Carl Jung terminated his training to be a psychoanalyst with Dr Freud as the analysand, and blamed Dr Freud. This left Carl Jung with a florid psychosis and and unresolved father fixation. Carl Jung then transferred his father fixation to the Führer, and took his orders from the second in command, Reichmarshall Hermann Goering.

Carl Jung survived the war without being brought before the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal and had a subsequent career as a New Age Guru. And in 2009 we discovered the private, extensive diary of Carl Jung, which has been hidden in a locked safe for 79 years, which showed Carl Jung suffered from a florid psychosis.

Here it's important to distinguish between the actual MBTI proper, and the Harold Grant/John Beebe stack with its dom-tert loops and whatnot. The former is a useful personality model comparable to Big 5 and HEXACO, while the latter has no grounding whatsoever and is more comparable to astrology like you said.

Freud invented psycho-analysis, Jung invented analytical psychology in order to distinguish his school of thought from Freud's, sorry I did not read the rest of your post but this glaring mistake just stood out.

I agree with you concerning astrology, but not MBTI. It's far too accurate to be simply fantasy.
