On the way to Stockholm - and the way back - I enjoyed the amazing scenery that rushed by as the train made its way to its destination. Pine tree forests were interlaced with gorgeous blue lakes and rivers. Silver birch trees, sacred to Freya, took over from the overabundance of pine trees once we entered Sweden, but the overarching beauty remained - the stage was set as if for a fairy tale.
And I realised for the first time how close my two worlds really were. Fairy tales are supposed to act like guides to our own lives, teaching us morals, cautioning us about the world and instilling within us the confidence to face the world. Yet, I never did
