Here is my theory that life is like a threads.
See there is many threads in this sea of life and they come and they go but they are all interwoven.
So one moment we are on one thread which is a story and this story will come to the next chapter but it may not be immediately as we may jump to another threads in the meantime, and so we can create the story for the now for the future but the previous story will still come to the next chapter as was designated for it in the previous time.
Thus life is like a threads, and this knowledge is given to me from on high and above in the spiritual planes of existence.
