Great actor. My favorites were Alien and Midnight Express

First Mary Tyler Moore, now Hurt. We're losing some greats

I saw that earlier. He was a fine actor, whether doing large roles or small.
It was fun watching him in Rob Roy with Brian Cox, Tim Roth, and Liam Neeson.

But yeah... we're back to this again. A particular generation is now dying off.

A devious part of me wishes Hurt secretly has a chestburster planted in his chest, to erupt out during the open casket viewing, splattering blood everywhere. That would be hilarious.
