Describe what 'NF' means to you in 5 isolated words.

That's four words. He said "five."Performed as requested. Enjoy.
Irritancy at annoyingly juvenile questions...
compassion, intelligence, passionate, tolerant, purposeful
Not exactly 5 isolated words. Compassionate and passionate are linked.
So you're only off by one, but this was a good attempt.
Yes, they have the same root; however, they are different concepts.
ah but to have compassion for someone doesn't mean you're passionate about them.....
Compassion needs feeling for legitimation which almost by defintion implies a passion of some sort.

com + passion : with, together + suffering
Compassion means experiencing someone's pain along with them.
Passion, on the other hand, as we tend to use it, just means powerful emotion. Compassion may be passionately felt, but they are different enough to be on a list with one another.
Could NFs really have compassion without that powerful emotion that you've just alluded to? Maybe this is what gave rise to that in the first place?
Can they be purposeful without passion?
