Ni is in the present, but it's the present in the context of the bigger picture.

"Communication" isn't the best word for Fe+Ti. Fi is plenty involved in the listening side of communication.

What I'm thinking of is how Ti finds the right words to express something, and Fe is about how to convey that to the audience. There's a word for it, but I don't know what it is. I don't think "expression" works.

While Fe DOES tend to be social, we need to cover the cases where it's used without people being involved.

So, it's about personal involvement with something. This covers usage where you're just going about your life using Fe.
