Odd, because I found this the most accurate test I've taken yet, and really enjoyed the question style, (ie. none of the above, A&B, etc) and after the results I really enjoyed reading about Katherine Chernick Fauvre's tritype. Were you trying to skew the results, or were you being genuine?
It's been upgraded to include subtypes. I have gotten confused between FELV and FEVL, mainly cause I relate to both 3L and 3V. But the way Rob(the one who made the test explained it), my 2L subtype he gave me makes less uptight about logic, which explains the 4L I got. My insecure logic is more refining my knowledge and not wanting to be incorrect rather than picking at others. Accentuated 1F and 2E is....not wrong. Vent to me, darlings. Don't assume what I can't feel.

Your scores indicate that you lead with the Enneagram defense strategies of Type 5.
Tritype®: 259
1X-2 “Overlay”
The 1-2 subtype is the most openly fierce and fearless of the confident attitudes. They tend to overlay their confident aspect over top of their flexible aspect which creates a doubly strong energy that is quite visceral in nature – even if they have communicative aspects in those positions (Emotion & Logic). This subtype is attempting to hide all vulnerabilities by openly asserting what they believe while helping others come to the same conclusions that the 1-2 possesses themselves. Although they can come off flexible at first glance, the closer you become to this subtype, the easier it is to see just how one-sided they perceive information within the aspect. For this reason, the 1-2 subtype can tend to look like a seesaw. They will go from intense sharing of information, to cutting off anyone who disagrees with it and moving on. This subtype is most focused on the vulnerabilities that could incapacitate their first aspect, and they are highly aware of what that could be. This subtype seems to be quite rare.
2X-2 (or 2X-A) “Accentuated”
The 2-2 subtype is the most obvious to identify out of all the flexible subtypes. They tend to have a huge range of information and opinions towards the aspect. There is a constant need to move forward with this subtype so they can explore every piece of information that is illuminated in their own mind. They focus on a balance of information between themselves and others. For this reason, they are always testing their opinions with others, desiring to have consistent dialogue. This subtype rarely ever gets tired of sharing information or expressing their opinion about the aspect. They may come off as overly talkative and unconcerned about getting a desired result as exploration is the focus. The 2-2 subtype can undergo the most intense pressure placed on it without budging. The reason for this, is because they continue to be curious about the “why” behind every construct, even if it means putting themselves in precarious situations. They have the most patience for others who are destructive and skeptical.
3X-3 (or 3X-A) “Accentuated”
The 3-3 subtype is the easiest to identify as a true Insecure attitude as they generally do not hold back in negatively transmitting what makes them feel insecure. They will criticize and imagine others’ experiences next to their own to differentiate how they are in comparison. They question anyone else’s authority over the aspect and prefer to create their own experiences and intricate opinions that no one can criticize. This subtype tends to be the most openly sensitive to outside attacks (as all are sensitive under the surface), whether perceived or real. This means that the 3-A subject will behave in a variety of ways, making them difficult to pin down as their third attitude is constantly shifting and reacting – as is par for the course for this position. They tend to immediately react to information related to the aspect held within, even if their response is totally disproportionate to what was said or declared.
4X-1 “Self-sufficient”
The 4-1 subtype is the most flippant of the unbothered subtypes. When they do engage in the aspect, they tend to be bold, to-the-point, and quick to express their opinion. Unlike the other three subtypes, the self-sufficient subtype is willing to criticize others. However, this does not mean they hold onto negative judgments, as changing their minds is done with relative ease. The 4-1 subtype moves on even quicker than the accentuated subtype. They can get into trouble when they follow their natural tendency to downplay the importance of the fourth aspect while mitigating all opinions to how they manage their first aspect. For this reason, the 4-1 subtype can look shut off from others, preferring to be entirely self-sufficient. The growth path for this type is to recognize the power of exploring the realm of their fourth aspect while truly looking to others for guidance beyond what is needed in the exact moment. This subtype has an urgency about it that is reminiscent of the first attitude, yet it lacks the certainty, confidence, and true emboldened nature that the first attitude displays.
Your scores indicate that you may align with the LEVF Attitudinal Type.
1L-2 • Overlay Subtype
2E-2 • Accentuated Subtype
3V-1 • Façade Subtype
4F-4 • Accentuated Subtype
LEVF is the Attitudinal Psyche type that seems the most interested in how they can envision and construct their reality to gain insight, meaning, and discover a philosophy that provides mental abundance. The LEVF appears to be protecting themselves from those who wish to take advantage of their philosophical nature by keeping their ideas close, resisting pressure, and putting conviction in their own ideas as the be-all end-all truth of the matter. They may come off as warm, intellectually lively, stoic, friendly, philosophical, perceptive, idealistic, succinct, dreamy, and at times reactive when others attempt to disrupt their decisions. The LEVF seems to want control over their identity through piecing together a philosophy that makes them feel at ease yet confident in the truth value held within the details.
1L – Confident Logic
LEVF is one of the most intellectually focused types. They love to pursue all systems of knowledge and gather as much information on whatever it is that’s inspiring them at the moment. LEVFs prefer to analyze and conceptualize all the things around them. They tend to strive for a universal ideal and dedicate their time gaining insight into whichever philosophies support this ideal. This type does not worry so much about their comforts as they see theoretical information as paramount. They do not put stock into money and indulgence in the physical world. They are truly searching for the philosophical “theory of everything”. For this reason, they are often interested in self-improvement.
2E – Flexible Emotion
LEVFs are keen on understanding the emotional rifts within a certain setting. This type is always willing to listen, empathize, and fully identify with whatever emotions others are conveying. They frequently refer back to prior experiences when theorizing how to classify new standards of interaction and generously share this information with those in need of emotional support. They’re great at describing situations and recalling all of the feelings, expressions, and thoughts of everyone who participated. There is always a focus on the purpose of an action or idea. No pattern escapes the mind of an LEVF. They do well at ignoring their own physical needs in order to be there for others, but easily take advice from those who notice this lack of attention to their environment.
3V – Insecure Volition
LEVFs are profoundly aware of the negative pitfalls that have plagued humanity and can fall into dark obsessions. They may tend to find fault in those who aggressively push their ideals and visions onto others. They can become combative and flighty if they are not given the proper space to ponder what it is they desire. LEVFs are extremely skeptical towards anyone who defines their identity without asking their opinion. They prefer to stay surrounded by those who aid in understanding their possible place in the world. They are firm believers of the saying, “Imagination decides everything.” Feelings of vulnerability, insignificance, dependence, and imperfection can invade their thoughts. At times, this may cause the LEVF to become misanthropic and remain on the outskirts of society. However, they are generally resilient and will continue to promote a positive emotional atmosphere and mindset, sometimes totally ignoring their insecurity towards their own volition.
4F – Unbothered Physics
LEVFs may abstain from worldly pleasures and comforts to maximize the attention they put into their inner logical world. The mind of an LEVF is constantly wandering and imagining so it’s easy for them to put objective reality on pause. They tend to have explored many different aspects of life and usually have something interesting to say about any subject except when it comes to all things physical. When they have a need or physical desire, they figure out the most efficient way to satisfy them. They prefer to quickly think of novel and timely ways to feel better and more in control of their body. They will take advice and pointers from others so long as they are not expected to waste too much energy in this realm. LEVFs prefer to use any nervous energy that crops up to decide what their responsibilities are, rather than how they look or feel physically.
Well... damn. I think that is the right order.

Ehhhh... assuming I'm Six because my answers were inconsistent, in a test where the questions were poorly worded and difficult to understand, kind of misses the point esp considering my other scores. While I can relate to Sixes, I also get frustrated dealing with them sometimes because of type differences.
Also... interesting enough (to support my point):
Same test gave me LEVF.... which is high 9 (one of my tritypes), and next highest with 2 and 5, and 6's/7's are the least likely for an LEVF type.
I do agree I've picked up some of the 6 defense strategies, though. They just make me unhappy and aren't my ideal choice of how to deal with things, they are just what I use after being frustrated / vulnerable over years and not feeling like I have other options.

I've talked to the system/test's creator about how he types 6s, and he has this weirdly elaborate way of "picking them apart" from others based on the defense strategies and even microexpressions. And yes, he did say "inconsistency" is a big factor in him typing 6s. I think that a lot of people would falsely test or type as 6 from how he types, TBH.

That's cool you talked to him. (I assume you mean Rob.) I know Sixes cause problems in other tests as well. But really, the wording on some of the questions (in English) is really hard to follow.

Yes, Rob. He is active on his Discord server so he's not very hard to talk to. I got officially typed twice by him in the earlier stages of his system, and once again recently.
He noticed that people with actual 6 fixes under-score as 6 on other tests. Therefore he overcompensated for it here. I like AP a lot (and I like Rob too, more so for explaining AP than for his enneagram typings), but this test itself is quite painful for me, honestly.

ELVF is the Attitudinal Psyche type that seems the most interested in transmitting their own strong emotional convictions through art, poetry, analytics, and rebellious declarations. The ELVF appears to be protecting their right to emotional and personal autonomy by being highly resistant to others who infringe on this core attitude. They may come off verbose, talkative, theoretical, self-centered, moody, poetic, artistic, and emotionally blunt. The ELVF seems to want control over their identity through narrating their lives, foraging meaning from their experiences, and retaining their own right to choose which emotional aesthetics get to take up space in their mental sphere.
VLEF is the Attitudinal Psyche type that seems the most interested in gathering information that supports the belief system of who they believe they are and what direction they have chosen. The VLEF appears to be protecting themselves and others from being emotionally intimidated or thrown off from the path they have decided to follow. They may come off as intellectual, professorial, curious, determined, demanding, accomplished, skeptical, argumentative, shut off, questioning, and sometimes artistic if it supports the goal they have in mind. The VLEF seems to want control over their identity through continuous inquiries and investigations of their choosing while resisting any emotional attack or violation of their sensitivities.

I did the test on a whim yesterday, but I think this is spot on.
If mbti and cog functions are real, then I have Fi (I value being my authentic self and my insight) and Te (I order and structure the world around me in service of my internal values and insights) in my stack somewhere. [likely IxFP or IxTJ, as I’m almost 99.999 % certain that I cannot be an ExTJ or ExFP].
The less obsessed and engaged in typology I’ve been over the last year, the more clear it’s become, if that makes any sense. I was too caught up in my own head to get a good read on myself. I’m coming back to it from a much healthier mindset and physicality now. Truths about myself that I didn’t want to face and therefore ignored have now become obvious. The signs were there all along, but I was deluding myself to protect a false, fragile self image. I thought that self image was a means to an end, and I wore it like a suit of paper armor.
The following about 3E rings especially true:
VLEFs often suppress their emotions which can have many different consequences. They may develop a sad overlay to their personality, holding in all of their emotional trauma and past pain, wishing to find a philosophical or logical answer of how to “solve” these traumas.
Incidentally, I’ve been facing and processing many past traumas as I’ve been working on breaking contact with toxic, abusive parents. It inadvertently led me back to an interest in typological systems, despite having previously deemed typology as an unhealthy fixation. I just wasn’t in a good mental state for it and needed clarity
Yep. I can’t believe I thought I was a 9 or 5 for so long. What a fool.
