In a way. It just means you become one with the person you're speaking or relating with, understanding them on a deep level. (At least, that's how I've always interpreted the question - anyone can feel free to come along and correct me.)I’ll be honest and unsure about the merging with others bit (like does it mean my interests become my interests because other people are interested in something?)
Tbh I only read a bit of this- but you seem like a very obvious 2. 2w1 or 2w3… idk. Honeslty it could be either. I just typed a whole bunch of shit debating it but Ive just decided on 2w1 because I think my 2w3 typing was too warped.
I think you are probably either an INFJ or an ENFJ. Honestly, I think ENFJ weirdly even tho we dont see a ton of that sort. But. Your self description reads more extroverted than Id even attribute to the most ambiaverted INFJ- and the level of self confidence in most of your answers just- it seems very Fe aux with… well. Self confirming Ni behind it. Fe has a mission, Ni strongly determines its mission is the correct one.
I hope none of this is offensive. None of it is consciously meant to be. But Id say ENFJ 217. Not 9. Not 6. Not 4. Not 5, though you do read as having… clumsy Ti. I could see an argument for Te. But I think its more Se tert that could be mistaken for Te. ENFJS too I think dont get enough credit for being as assertive as they are.
In any case, welcome. Havent read anyone elses posts, so Idk if my opinion is the same, but yeah. Thats what I think! So/sx. Or sx/so. Sp last. But could be either sx/so or so/sx.
Fe with ENFJ is different imo than Fe with ESFJs. Irs almost a completely different animal sometimes. With ESFJs, the Fe is usually immediately socially driven- concerned with connecting directly with those around them, and therefore it usually comes across imo as softer than the Fe I associate with some ENFJs. With some ENFJs, especially those with any sort of 1 influence, Fe can be very… virtue focused. It can be less focused on immediate connection to “individuals” and more focused on social heavy causes. This is commonly, or at least somewhat commonly, religion. As another negative that may be unfair, I believe Fe/Ni Ni/Fe(to a lesser extent) with 1w2 or 2w1 is a pretty stereotypical type for a cult leader. Not saying you are that- just saying that… Fe/Ni is different and much more globally focused than Fe/Si usually.Hello! Thank you for responding, I really appreciate your analysis and I absolutely don't find it offensive, it was very helpful and in fact, this is why I'm having my problem (I can't tell if I use Fe dominantly, especially when analysing more other (likely) Fe-dom users in my own life, for example) I am interested to know why you think my Ti is clumsy though (I can understand your argument about Te, but how Ti would be expressed is the thing I'm aiming to pin down, because I don't think you're trying to say Ti is passive in expression ).
I am definitely more ambiverted than extroverted though (Though I do think people assume I'm extroverted because I tend to connect with people deeply, quite quickly but I'd argue my ability to do this is more of a developed skill ( the quickness of it, combined with my love of socialising generally). But for me, it's understanding that people aren't scary and do desire to connect with others but being more risk-averse can hinder this and I'm willing to put myself out there and take the leap, if need be), not that the general definitions really have impact on dichotomy.
Interesting- what are your justifications ?FeSi
Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. I am curious to see how people actually would see my type. contrary to popular belief, I do like the mbti and it's too bad it doesn't get enough cred, because of 16personalities and cognitive functions are intriguing. I personally love typing people and see if others would agree.
But I've been so intrigued by my type recently, I do definitely agree with types not changing but evolving on the basis of you growing up and refining your brain to the changing world around you, but I wonder what that looks like for me. I've been typed INTJ, INFJ , ENFJ and at some point ISTJ (but that was quite a depressive state so unsure if that had an effect).
while I do expect variation, I find it interesting to know how our interpretations of others affect the judgement of ourselves and how we interact with the world and I think knowing more about that, will help me interact with people better, even if it isn’t perfect.
