INTPs are renown for telling the ugly truth of things many others don't want to hear or in inappropriate situations. So let's hear it. What "truths" have you been hiding that you've been afraid to tell the world?
Disclaimer: Truth is largely defined by one's own believes and perception. So the title is a pun. What I'm after is unpopular opinions that you strongly believe in.
All types are welcome to post as well. Let's just make sure no judging happens here even if what they're saying is not agreeable. That's the point of this thread.
I'll start:
1. There are indeed scums in this world that is better off dead than kept alive to save on diminishing resources.
2. Human beings need a certain degree of stress to live, otherwise they will feel aimless. The struggles become guidelines to how people should act. A perfect world of zero disaster, will only drive the human race insane.
3. Logically made decisions will always have a higher chance to function better as oppose to emotionally made decisions.
4. No one can truly atone for their sins because history cannot be changed.
5. Friendship and love is overrated. not everyone needs them.
6. Arguments are the most efficient way to gain mutual understanding.
7. If you feel like the world is against you, then you probably should reflect on yourself first. Most likely you are the one at fault.
8. No matter how empathetic you are, you can never truly share someone's pain.
9. Your problems are not my problems. You cannot blame me for not caring about your problems, and you should always be appreciative when I do.
10. No one is obligated to do anything for another person, no matter what your relationship is with that person is. Always be thankful for the things others do for you.
11. One doesn't need a goal in life to have a meaningful life. Wealth, fame and glory are overrated. True satisfaction comes from within. It is a meaningful life if you are satisfied with the way you live and no one else has the right to tell you otherwise.
12. Is the glass half empty or half full? Well it depends how thirsty I am. Level of optimism is always subjected to the current situation. Motivational quotes are all empty without substance.
