Its true; they don't know where to put me in the kitchen.
I answered one of those questionnaires the PerC one to be specific. I put it under the spoiler, because people will see the wall of text, and say oh hell no!
What aspect of your personality made you unsure of your type?
I have never been particularly confident in any of my typings. Perhaps in part to the subjective nature of it all. Attempts at an objective perspective often end in a rationalisation, a need to fit a type to a set of often very limited data collectives. For example all XDAS do these set things, therefore you are XDAS. Which in itself would not be objectionable..... but for the fact everyone uses different data points, or interprets them differently.
What do you yearn for in life? Why?*
I'm not in the best place in the world at the moment, so my answers to this question maybe suspect. Apart of me would settle for a life fulfilled, having seen the world and pushed myself as far as I could go and be. The other part of me; my grandiose delusional egotistical side wants nothing less then to shake the world, my Icarus ending. But at my basic level I'd settle for the feeling of standing on the knife edge potential and chaos surrounding me.
Think about a time where you felt like you were at your finest. Tell us what made you feel that way.*
Not particularly different then most I would guess..... the time in life when I wasn't falling apart. When the future lay before me, and yet within my grasp. Before what ever the hell happened, happened.
What makes you feel inferior?
The usual things; specifically being incompetent at anything I do is grating, which is hilarious given my frequent incompetency. Also not living up to my standards, possibly other peoples standards as well.
What tends to weigh on your decisions? (Do you think about people, pro-cons, how you feel about it, etc.)*
Pro-cons first, the balance of probability as I think of it, then about the people it effects, lastly how I feel about it. Unless I feel particularly self indulgent.
When working on a project what is normally your emphasis? Do you like to have control of the outcome?
Thats a matter of input, the more I put in (content or impact) the more control I want over the outcome.
Describe a time where you had a lot of fun. How is your memory of it?
I was slightly drunk at a concert, it was a blast.
When you want to learn something new, what feels more natural for you?
As in what form do I best take information in? I’m a reading writing preference learner. Though occasionally kinaesthetic has worked well.
How organized do you think of yourself as?*
I'm usually disorganised, but I can be quite organised, if the cost/benefit works in my favour, systematic might be a better term for it. The less I care the more disorganised something will be. Unfortunately it appears I care for very little.
How do you judge new ideas? You try to understand the principles behind it to see if they make sense or do you look for information that supports it?*
I do both, I usually start by understanding the principles, then look at information that corroborates/contrasts the theorem. Only once perspective has reached critical mass (in proportion to its worth) will judgement be made. Well as long as time restraints allow.
You find harmony by making sure everyone is doing fine and belonging to a given group or by making sure that you follow what you believe and being yourself?
Does anyone find harmony in everyone else being fine? That seems like a fragile balancing act to base a part of your psyche on. So probably the second scenario, well sort of as I am kind of nuts so, have to hide that. So being myself within reason.
Are you the kind that thinks before speaking or do you speak before thinking? Do you prefer one-on-one communication or group discussions?
I used to think while I was speaking, but isolation appears to have atrophied that ability. Thinking before speaking is usually how things play out now.
Do you jump into action right away or do you like to know where are you jumping before leaping? Does action speaks more than words?*
Dependent on the potential impact of the action. The larger the impact the more I will think before acting. Actions speak much louder then words, they remain the only objective data we have of a persons psyche. Thoughts mould us, actions define us.
It's Saturday. You're at home, and your favorite show is about to start. Your friends call you for a night out. What will you do?
It depends on the friends potential plans and how I feel at the time. So both yes and no.
How do you act when you're stressed out?*
I'm not always entirely conscious of it, I tend to get a few of the physical signs of stress. Usually I'm obsessive and volatile.
What makes you dislike the personalities of some people?*
They treat other people like crap, spread idiocy and misinformation. All because they havent learned to pull their heads out of their arses and look themselves in the mirror. Also complete lack of critical reasoning skills, combined with zero pragmatism is the most terrifying thing I have ever seen.
Is there anything you really like talking about with other people?
I honestly don't know its been a while since I had a decent conversation. Tedious small conversation aren't any fun, but everyone thinks that.
What kind of things do you pay the least attention to in your life?
My apathy is making it hard for me to pay attention to much at the moment. But in my better moments it would have been the social realm, and the romantic realm to a degree.
How do your friends perceive you? What is wrong about their perception? ? What would your friends never say about your personality?*
I don't have a clue, probably the only thing I can be sure they wouldn't say of me is that I'm an idiot.
You got a whole day to do whatever you like. What kind of activities do you feel like doing?
Presumably I have the magic to transport myself to a large European city? In which case I would spend the day exploring everything.
Feel free to ask me questions and such.
