While I am unsure of my type in general, for the sake of getting somewhere I will narrow things down to my two most common results (INTP and INFP).
I have major problems agreeing fully with either type and even on tests the difference between the two is usually slim... Ex.View attachment 6992
3% infp over intp...
Well anyways, some info...
My feelings often are a major part of my decision making process. Although in the past I have led myself to believe that this was not the case...(Back then I consistently scored INTP on the tests) However when I try to make a decision on a solely logical basis I usually end up doubting my decision and changing it often, but when I make a decision on an emotional basis the decision seems more likely to stick. In addition, I hate mind games, which it seems like most INTPs love. Oh, and math makes my head hurt calculus is killing me...
My problem with INFP however is that in all of the descriptions it seems like to be an INFP you have to be a caring person who loves fluffy bunnies and wouldn't hurt anyone or some other crap like that (Sometimes I desperately want to hurt certain people(but I don't...) Heh-heh)... The stuff about bunnies is a hyperbole of course, but that's what it seems like sometimes when I read through...
While I treat those close to me in a way consistent with the INFP description. (Gets upset when they do, would do anything to make them happy, happy when they are happy, etc.) I can be extremely cold to those I don't trust or like. And in general I can be a pretty cynical person too... Which doesn't seem to go along with most descriptions of the INFP.
Well, I doubt that I provided enough info to really type me, so if any info would be helpful ask for clarification, I really don't know what I need to put here...
Also, I don't know all that much about the MBTI so if somehow I pointed towards a type besides the two listed feel free to indicate that I may fall into that as well... *Shrugs and rolls eyes*
EDIT: Actually I have come across a fake type which people call the "Broken INFP" which consists of an INFP who has turned their back on their feelings somewhat and become cold, which kind of describes me most of the time. Also I read somewhere that reluctance to fall into a type is characteristic of INFP... Don't know if that's true though. Also, I won't deny that I have, uhhh, lets just say... "psychiatric diagnoses" ... that complicate the issue, so good luck if you are going to try to type me.
