She-Hulk S1E4 was pretty lousy -- noticeable step down, which is weird since chunks of it were in the series promos.
The series is mostly light-hearted fluff and has be-bopped along for a few episodes -- not super-great, but enjoyable in the moment. The writing for this episode just wasn't funny. In fact, it was just really bad. This was tedious to sit through and didn't seem to offer anything for the series, like a filler episode. Thye could have done so much with this concept and it just was really unimaginative and not amusing.

Disney+ is having "Disney Day" but not a very good one. Besides the crappy She-Hulk episode, there's a Simpson cartoon that was absolutely terrible (most of their cross-franchise episodes have been not so good, but this is one of the worst -- "Oh, look, we put Disney villains in Simpson's animation, aren't we just wonderful?? gush gush"), and Love and Thunder also released on streaming today... an average film, Waititi's done better in the past. And a Cars clip? Probably the worst Pixar franchise out there? Nothing else looked interesting. Is this the best they can do to drum up new business?
It's really kind of shocking how they have all this money and resources but Phase 4 MCU, Disney live-action, Pixar, and whatever else have been a real downgrade in the last year or two. Resting on their laurels as if the franchises themselves justify their own existence and quality, rather than actually doing some hard creative work.
