From my perspective, I don't always show my emotions to everyone but I'm always really open about anything to someone I'm even remotely romantically involved in. Usually I have a fear it will drive them away. But you ENFJs, wow, you just take me as I come. That is really something. I think we really like you guys, but as soon as we get on with some time consuming projects, you don't get enough attention. Am I right or am I right?

But if someone was to say I'm the whole package, it would drive me away a bit. This has happened too soon and I wasn't into getting on that white unicorn with my full body armor. I get all sweaty and stuff.

From my experience, what you said has been true to type. I've also experienced the 'fear of emotions driving people away' from my ENTP. He's offhandedly mentioned the 'damaged goods' thing, which I quickly countered with a you've been dented in all the right places so that you fit perfectly with me, all humans are damaged, shut up, shhhh, let me love you, shhhh, you are perfect for me, let me looooveeee yooouuuuuu.

The time consuming projects can be difficult, but I'm an extrovert that is super fond of alone time, so it doesn't bother me all that much. As long as he gives me attention when he's around, I'm good.

Hahaha... that is a good analogy. Pshhh, and ENFJ wouldn't say that to their faces too early, anyway. We're super subtle with that stuff... enough to drive ya'll crazy. ;)

What you said is so much like what the one ENFJ I've had the pleasure of meeting said to me, take out the love you part. :D On our first meeting. Way to keep it real and understanding. I freaking love that. Then I heard she is taken. What a hammer to the face.

That package was from an INFP btw. Guess they're more prone to idealizing and blurting those frogs out. :D

I dunno but I just really love NFJs. You are so awesome in so many ways. So rare though. Waiting to find the next one.

Oh, don't get me wrong. We are quite the "idealizers". I think it's just more along the lines of using that ideal as motivation to move forward, to set the compass North, per se. When it comes to humans, I always want all of the goods, all of the bad with the great, all of the things you've never told anyone. I want the most intimate and authentic picture of you possible. No matter how difficult it may be for either party to deal with, just the simple reveal of all that will melt my heart. Plus, I can always forgive a past if I see the move towards growth.

As far as liking the NFJs, we're passion-for-the-people/cause people. If you go looking in non-profits and volunteering arenas, the ones that are always smiling and assisting others are the ENFJs, and the ones doing all the work quietly behind the scenes so nothing goes wrong are the INFJs. Generally speaking, of course. ;)

Of course. I said more prone to idealizing. :) I do some myself. This ability to be raw and vulnerable is something I'm really yearning for in a mate right now. In this case its not that it would drive you away but make you even more attracted to me. What else could I wish for... :wubbie: I don't know if I speak for all the ENTPs but I always seek to grow to someday reach the stars. In the real world as well and not just in my visions. That's the grand plan at least. :D

Thanks for the tips. Now I just have to find the hottest non-profit leader around. ;) Or go for the smiley-face INFJ that has just begun volunteer work. Lets go unicorn hunting! Are the rainbows shooting out of my mouth enough to get your attention? I'm getting rainbow-colored sneakers. Yesss!

Good luck on your ENFJ hunt! You will make one very happy, I'm sure.

@ OP -

ENTP are funny. Girls like humour. And the humour they use isn't sarcasm either which could hurt more so than humour the victim. And it's almost always original. They TEASE you. They tease you so much you want to punch them but they do it so well it wouldn't hurt your feelings. When you go so mad from all the teasing, they'll make sure to make you laugh at yourself.

^ This is what I have noticed from ENTPs. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ENTPs who are E3s.

However, they aren't the best partners. They are too removed from the here and now to consistently care for you which makes them undependable partners in the long run.

Because you aren't an ENTP. And they probably want a guy who can put a solid paragraph together.

Witty, soooooo witty. Nice grammar Nazi skills too.

Since when did NF's have an issue with clinginess?

Well I did end things with my first bf for clinginess ... he was trying to make me his only source of happiness which was just waaay too much pressure and extremely manipulative.

Woman like Narcissists, Psychopaths, and Machiavellians? Most would beg to differ. And yet..

What is secondary psychopath?

A Sociopath. Environmental factors create their mindset and deafened emotional state.

The true psychopath is a primary psychopath. Genetic.

Interesting. My most recent ex was ISTX, and he told me that he has the ability to completely shut off his emotions if necessary, and that he also came very close to "going down the wrong path" while the context of the conversation was sociopathy, meaning he thought that he could have ended up one had he not left the circle of friends he was involved with.
