I think its not wise, to think that in situations in which one is down, to think he is more NT in that moments. That would be like trieing to drive a gasoline engine with diezel, an epic fail

Nahhh, he's not NT...any more than I am.

Besides those tests are not multifaceted enough to incorporate all aspects of the human persona. How could they be? So don't freak out about that....

Ya, they pay no respect for my awesome driving skills. I crashed an automatic car today into the wall, cause I accidently switched to reverse instead of forward. Whats that ? Retarded introverted Driving ?

I will say, based on the INFP friends I've had, that if you have an ENFP friend (like moi! ), you can trust them with your feelings. We seem flighty but when a friend is in need, we are THERE. When I've bumped heads with INFPs, it's been because they weren't true to themselves or because they held back their feelings and I felt like I was the only one opening up.
Yes that could be it... I'm very reserved about who I trust my feelings and such with (Hence the "I" ^^). I'm lacking my "vents" at the moment, most of them are away for whatever reasons. Hopefully things get better when they are available again!

I tested NT several times in the past and even SJ once when I was 18 and my shadow was out to play (ISTJ).

When I was in college, I took the test about 20 times and consistently received INTX, usually INTJ.

However, I am NOT NT. I think certain aspects of our personalities are more apparent at certain phases of our lives under certain circumstances. However, that does not change our CORE selves. Does that make sense?

So being in an academic environment can make you seem more NT because your NiTe or your NeTe or your TiNe or your TeNi or TeNe or TiNi comes out to play. That often happens. Or if you are forced in a position where you have to have a 'grab the bull by the horns' perspective. Sometimes certain jobs help us to develop certain traits that are not normally strong (like Fe for me and teaching). However, that does NOT change your core self.

    No worries.
    That helped a lot, thanks!

Because of that I've been very anti personal contact with others, not very open with anybody but a few people and I think Im slipping into an NT mode... My "F" function is 40%ish, I rather like being an INFP, and dont really want to turn into an INTP :P... Can anybody else relate? How NT are you?
I'm not NT at all. I don't have the capacity to relate to NTs. I can communicate with them, and we can influence and analyze one another's ideas, but we both know that we're too different on an emotional level to actually relate to each other as individuals.

I have strong N, and I have strong T, but the experience of being an NF with N and T is completely different from being an NT.

I would call this slipping into Introversion, not NT-ish behavior. Many NTs are extremely Extraverted precisely because they aren't as strongly affected by such things as you are. They can just let it roll over them.

You have nothing to fear, you'll never turn into an NT. You don't have it in you, none of us do. There are a few people who think I might be one, but I think that's due to a misunderstanding on their part of what the NT temperament symbolizes. For instance, if you were an NT, how close or distant you were to people would be irrelevant to you except inasmuch as it impacted your ability to analyze or reach a goal. Showing concern with it for it's own sake proves that you're not one.

I think of myself as NT-ish only because I am very careful in deciding where to point my Fe-Lazergun.
