Forgive me if this has been discussed, but the forum search wasn't loading (and even when it does work, it's inaccurate half the time haha).
But anyways, just stumbled upon this:
http://www.slayerment.com/mbti-politics
If you put aside the writer's obvious bias, he seems to make a good point. MBTI and it's relationship to politics is something I've thought about in the past. I've talked to family and friends (that know their type) about their political views over the last year and what I've heard pretty much mirrors this guy's findings:
SJ - generally conservative/Republican
NF - generally liberal/Democrat
SP - split (of people I know, STP lean conservative and SFP lean liberal. The SPs I know were also the least interested in politics.)
NT - tend to have libertarian views
Keep in mind I only know the opinions of 4 to 6 of each temperament, but even from that small pool of people, it lined up surprisingly well with the above.
How does this hold up to what you've seen, and does it describe your view?
Is this all coincidence/stereotype, or does there seem to be some weight to this theory?
