    You Scored as Materialist

Materialism stresses the essence of fundamental particles. Everything that exists is purely physical matter and there is no special force that holds life together. You believe that anything can be explained by breaking it up into its pieces. i.e. the big picture can be understood by its smaller elements.

But it will at least be poetic, I suppose...

Hmm... But what if it does end well?
Then I suppose it will be a different sort of poetry, a preferable sort...
A sort I could become accustomed to...

Funny that some people don't seem to like the test, I thought it was a fairly good one actually...

Wow, I didn't expect my postmodernism score to be quite so high; it would have been top if "cultural creative", whatever exactly that is, hadn't been a whopping 100%! I don't necessarily disagree though. Meaning is after all only found by considering the context

I would have expected a higher score for Existentialism, but they seem to be regarding it more as an exclusive philosophical belief system than I would. The bottom few fit rather well though...

Hm... Took this test over a year ago and posted it here.
100% Materialist. Well, I was in a bit of an identity crisis when it came to spirituality.
In Denial with a big D. I have done much thinking and came to new conclusions.

    Current score:

    You Scored as Romanticist
Romanticism encourages society to look backwards to find our solutions. Your rationale is that things were much better a few hundred years ago so we should thus look back to those times and replace them in our modern society. You believe in a simple life and that the complexities of the modern world have turned it upside down.

    You Scored as Existentialist

Existentialism emphasizes human capability. There is no greater power interfering with life and thus it is up to us to make things happen. Sometimes considered a negative and depressing world view, your optimism towards human accomplishment is immense. Mankind is condemned to be free and must accept the responsibility.
