preferred resources?

I find enneagram typing fairly overwhelming--having believed that my type was 4, then 1, then 9, and now possibly 6, I feel like I don't really know where the best place to *start* is. Maybe a test? But I always just get a bunch of super close results.

Any recommended resources?

I've been a massive fan of the book Character and Neurosis, ever since I read it:

I don't think any other book helps to pinpoint and distinguish the types as thoroughly (or verbosely!) as this one. Other enneagram books feel like self-help books, this is more impartial.
