This is the orignal questionnaire: https://www.personalitycafe.com/threads/short-effective-scenario-questionnaire-2-0-self-type.505602/

I don't have a lot of time this week to fill out a new one, so I've reposted this one that was already on personality cafe, but I only got a vibe answer. I'll do the one here when I have time. But I've been really confused about my type lately and I need help. Thank you so so much 😊

----- If you have any further questions, please let me know!!!

SCENARIO 1

FOCUS ON YOUR FEELING PROCESS HERE

Your significant other just ended your 2 year relationship quite suddenly and with no apparent explanation. Up until this point you had both been talking about marriage and last week you even went to look at rings together. Now he/she won't even return your phone calls or texts. After talking with his/her family you find out that he/she has just been diagnosed with terminal stage 4 cancer.

- Describe how this scenario would make you feel as well as what sort of influences and motivations lie behind those feelings. Why do you feel the way you do? == It would make me feel really down, especially considering how abrupt the break-up was. Dating for 2 years, talking about marriage, looking at rings, and then nothing... I understand that the situation (cancer) is complicated, but a justification for it would be appreciated. I feel the way I do bcs dating for 2 years and talking about marriage, it means we both loved each other.

- In this scenario what would you honestly say the primary focus of your feelings would be? == Both of our feelings. We'd both be suffering, I'm sure. (Not really asked, but I would try to get back together with him and spend the rest of our time together.)

SCENARIO 2

FOCUS ON YOUR FEELING PROCESS HERE

You are in college and this semester both you and your roommate end up in the same class together. You and your roommate get along fairly well and the living situation works but you aren't particularly close. You both typically do your own thing and are rather indifferent to each other. As the semester progresses you excel and become one of the top students in the class whereas your roommate is struggling significantly to grasp the material. The professor assigns a fairly challenging take home test that is a significant portion of your grade. He/she makes it clear that while it is open book, students are to work alone. Later your roommate comes to you begging for help after struggling with the test most of the weekend. You have already completed the assignment and he/she isn't asking to copy your answers, just to help tutor and mentor them as they struggle to complete the test, so there is no way your professor would ever know. However, this is the first time your room-mate has asked you for help this semester. He/she makes it clear that how they do on this test could mean the difference between passing and failing this class.

- How do you respond to your roommate’s request and why?
== I would totally help them. They're struggling. We might not be the best of friends, but we get along. It's also the difference between passing or failing, and we're talking about someone's future here. I also finished my project, so it wouldn't jeopardize my own work.

- What sort of things in this scenario stand out to you as far as having a strong influence on your decision making and why? == Especially considering the future implications for my roommate. I also think that the teacher's decision of not being able to help each other is a bit unfair. It's not like we're doing a classroom test. It's a sort of homework. And even for tests, if we're having difficulties, we'd ask for help before.

- Describe the flow of your decision making process. == In short, we're close-ish, we get along well, their future is at stake and it wouldn't harm to help.

SCENARIO 3

FOCUS ON YOUR LOGIC AND THINKING PROCESS HERE

Your boss calls you into his/her office in order to assign you to a new project. He/she gives you a choice between two.

Project 1 is a rather broad, expansive project covering multiple areas of company operations. It has the potential to have a very significant impact on company operations but it would require a collective effort and an extensive amount of group work where you would be logically thinking through the project together with the group of individuals your boss has also assigned to it.

Project 2 has a much more specific and narrow focus and would require a significant amount of in depth individual analysis to work through the problem. You would be working alone and the completion of the project may or may not have much impact on company operations. However, after complete the process and problem you were working on will be streamlined and fundamentally understood.

- Which project appeals to you the most, as it relates to the way you prefer to logically process information? Why?
== Project 2. With project 1, first of all, a lot more work would have to be put into + working with other people. (I don't mind working with other people, but I prefer to do it alone). Project 2 appeals to me more bcs I can focus on one specific topic and that would mean I could possibly fix an issue with it. Even tho project 2 mentions that it may or may not have much impact, I would try my best for that single issue to be fixed by explaining why it would be better to work on that.

- What sort of things in this scenario, across either project, stood out to you as having a strong influence on your decision? Why? == I already answered this a bit before, but what made me chose 2 was the fact that Project 1 is so expansive. I tried to think of what I would choose if it were reversed. As in, Project 1 was like that, but me working alone and Project 2 one topic but working with different people. I would still pick the project 2, even though I would have to work with other people. But that way, we could fix a more specific, and possibly more important, problem in the company. Why?... Bcs usually focusing on various issues at the same time might not work properly. They could either be temporarily fixed or just half-fixed. Even though I'm not sure project 2 would impact the company, I would still risk it and try my best for it to have an impact, and that way I could possibly fix an operation.

SCENARIO 4

FOCUS ON YOUR LOGIC AND THINKING PROCESS HERE

Your college professor has assigned you to a group project with 3 other individuals. All 3 of these individuals have a good strong work ethic and desire to contribute to the overall success of this project. You are at the first meeting of your group and the other members are tossing around valuable ideas as to the nature and direction of this project.

- Describe your behavior in this situation as you process and think about the ideas they are presenting.
== I would listen to everyone's ideas and also input my own. Then in the end the best for us would be to discuss which one was the best, maybe even a junction of more than one idea, and decide then how to do and continue our project.

- Describe what major influences drive this behavior. == Well, this is a group project so we all have to participate/work and everyone would feel valued/useful. And also, I don't have to worry about them slacking off and doing all the work myself, so I would want us all to participate equally.

SCENARIO 5

FOCUS ON THE SOURCES YOU DRAW NON-PHYSICAL ENERGY FROM HERE

It has been a very long week and you feel mentally and emotionally drained, but good news! It is Saturday and you have nothing significant that needs to be done. You FINALLY have some free time to yourself to recharge your batteries and do whatever you want.

- Describe what sort of activities would help you to recharge. What would you enjoy doing after a long week and why?
== Definitely stay home and do something that wouldn't involve having to drain me mentally and emotionally. For example, watching a movie or playing a game. If someone close invited me out or smth, I probably wouldn't deny either.

- What sort of things do you feel you draw non-physical energy from doing? == Watching a show, playing a game, not doing anything. Being with close friends might help too. But my first choice would be the show/game, doing nothing part.

SCENARIO 6

FOCUS ON THINKING VS FEELING HERE

You have a meeting with your college career counselor to discuss potential careers that interest you. He/she offers you a list of the following careers and asks you to pick your TOP 3. He/she asks you to take money out of the equation. Imagine all of these careers received equal compensation. Focus instead on where you would truly feel most happy and fulfilled.

Artist, Scientist, Actor, Engineer, Musician, Lawyer, Counselor, Entrepreneur, Teacher, Manager, Psychologist, Computer Programmer / Analyst, Clergy, Child Care, Medical Doctor

- What were your top 3 choices and what aspects of these careers appeal to you?
== Actor, Teacher, and Psychologist. Actress bcs I like acting and I think it would be smth fun to do as well. Teacher, in my case more specifically any sort of language teacher, bcs I love to learn new languages and especially English would be a really important language to teach other people. Psychologist bcs I like to understand how people work, not only others but mainly myself. Why do certain people act a certain way, so different than others? Stuff like that.

- Was it difficult or easy to pick only 3 and why? == It wasn't hard bcs those are all my dream jobs. I ended up not doing any for some life situations, but those 3 careers have been consistently what I wished to do for a few years now.

- Prioritize the aspects of your career choices that influenced your decision, what things mattered most to you, where do you imagine finding the most fulfillment and why? == Actress, I would like to do it just bcs it's fun and I think I'm good at it. Teacher, I love languages and I could teach others too. Psychologist bcs I could help myself mainly and I could also help others. As for fulfillment, I'd say Psychology (but it's a close tie with teacher). As I said, I could understand myself better and help other people understand themselves as well

SCENARIO 7

Click on the image below and pay close attention to the things that jump out to you, objects, thoughts, feelings, impressions, ideas etc. What do you see?

- Describe the main things that stand out to you in this picture.
== The trees stood out to me right away. They're centered and the light they're receiving makes them stand out. 2nd the rocks are right on top of the trees. They also stand out the most bcs of the lighting but also in shape.

- Why do you think/feel you focused on those things? == I think it's just the lighting really. And the shape of the rocks. They're more squared than the rest. The ones on the right are more smooth and the ones on the left are more pointy.

- Describe the strength with which this photo did or did not appeal to you and why? == Not that much, to be honest. It's a nice pic and all, but it wouldn't be one that I would put as my desktop wallpaper, for example. I also don't see myself going to the place. I wouldn't mind, it's really beautiful and it seems peaceful, but at the same time a bit dangerous.

I think you're an ESFP.
Interesting 🤔 How so?
I was sure I was on the Ne-Si axis, so it's very surprising for me that you saw Se-Ni.
Fi-Te is correct as well, that one I recently found out. I'm having a hard time figuring out the order of my functions.
Thank you so much for your help 😊
