I have had a long term, intractable, social problem that I have finally been able to put a name to. It is called "Flying Monkeys", click What are "flying monkeys"? (Glossary of Narcissistic Relationships) - YouTube.

This is a great relief to me, as I felt very much alone. And now I find I share this problem with many others, and it is easy to find on Youtube.

I have an awful backlog of feeling about this which I would like to explore in subsequent posts, but I will content myself by kicking off here.

To be continued......

Disclaimer: to anyone with a personality disorder Dx, if the above support page is upsetting or offensive to you because you don’t relate to some of the description, then please don’t take it personally. If you don’t do these things, it’s not referring to you. However, those with that Dx who do not manage their issues do often resort to unhealthy coping behaviors like this. And others have the right to protect themselves from that.
This doesn’t reflect on you personally. If the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t try to force it on.
