An alien spaceship crashlands on Earth. People of Earth restore it to the best they can and name it Super Dimensional Fortress (SDF-01). During its maiden flight, the alien race that owns the ship appears in Earth orbit to reclaim it, appearently in search of something called Proto-culture in it, and the crew has to attempt a dimensional fold to take the ship and fight away from Earth, and end up in some distant part of space and then they try to travel back to Earth while avoiding the aliens.

I've seen Zero typed as INFJ on personality database but there's another character name Sorena in the series who is actually an INFJ and was long ago burned at stake by townspeople due to witchcrafting.

Darling in the Franxx is a romantic/sci-fi anime series about teens piloting some mechas in male-female pairs to fight off some gigantic alien life form that took a hold on Earth. There's also a slight beauty and the beast sub-theme to the story.

The hot headed female pilot in the red uniform, Zero-2, is an ESTP (the beast).

The guy in the middle, Code: 016, is an ISFJ and is prince charming (i.e. the beauty).

The girl with blue hair, Code 015, is an ISTJ.

My favorite part of Darling was how fallen the advanced world had become. Married couples never interacted with each other, just sat on VR headsets all day.

I think I've seen Sword of the Stranger, the fight scene around the red windmill in the clip looked familiar. I faintly recall that there were some assassins that were swallowing some drug pellets to numb their feelings and become fearless but they became feeble when its effects wore off.

In near future, humankind solved the energy problem by siphoning energy from a newly discovered dimension called Dimension W thru dimensional sockets. Outside the human cities, animals that have now taken humanoid form and developed intelligence live in groups of feudal clans with late medieval technology and clash among each other from time to time, in awe and fear of their human overlords. But turn of events reveal that all is not as it seems in the Utopia.
