Gen Z/Zoomers/Zillenneals/Pluralists seem like they are heading the same direction.

What makes things worse is that many less educated older people actually become more right-wing as a result of seeing their children not become more conservative. It's the whole "wokeness" trope.

I have a mother-in-law(who is an immigrant herself) who blames immigrants on her daughter not being able to find a job related to her Masters, convinced her husband to vote for Trump (though a life-long Democrat).

You need kind of a dictionary to tease out the double-speak that support the fascistic tendencies being coaxed.

True, first world Gen Z will probably be even more extreme version of Millennials. Especially since millennials at least have some kinda of a memory of the normal times before turn of the century. While Gen Z doesn't not have that at all. Plus on average they will probably be even more broke as many of their countries are falling apart.

Im really enjoying the up coming generation's empathy and understanding of collective bargaining. If more millennials had been able to do that, we'd have been less miserable growing up, but everyone seemed to expect us to just get in line like the generation x...

The cousins to the sisters of the sons niece's brothers to the Uncle's daughter's father, of the nephew's sister's mothers of the you you're not supposed to use in an essay. but they're all gone now, so that is why everyone's the generalization you get. Let the anvils ring.

Ok, I suppose that it is then the X factor that is hard to pinpoint.
It's best not to make generalizations, but everyone is doing it. So if one must make generalizations its best to do them where someone will question it...either way further consideration and a deeper line of questioning is always preferable to blind unquestioning hey yeah...outside of a comedy bit of course...and I can remember a time where politics was a higher brow comedy of errors, rather than a farcical comedy of manners threatening to run screaming into authoritarianism.

I agree that this is kinda absurd point to make: they are completely crazy but we will work with them everyday anyway.
If they are truly crazy that should be a complete red flag.

With lowering of energy costs it seems that my local inflation will start to drop. It seems that the peak is behind us.

My immigrant in-laws moved back to their home country a few years ago due to this rising insanity (plus getting told to "go back to your country" by someone in a store). Everything listed above has played out in the past in other countries, it's just happening here now. Lack of education and the ignorance of history that doesn't glorify the US, nearly guarantees it repeating itself.

It just doesn't stop.

People have been working from home since we'll before the pandemic. It's just before it was due to the convenience of the employers instead of employees. If the policy is stop working from home, both types stop.

I think middle management tend to favor CEOs position because they realize more keenly that they have a bullshit job when things go as well or better when they aren't involved.

I relate a lot to the good boss who got pushed out by upper management because he kept his workers happy while hitting company targets because upper management believed they could extract more with a more exploitative middle manager.

Yet more people who understand political economy. Another perspective on the problem:

Indeed, the fed ensures asset price inflation even when trying to control consumer price inflation. Assets includes housing, a basic human right. Thank goodness that people haven't financialized air. We literally couldn't afford to breathe.

Here's the Hudson paradox:

We definitely need to break up the large monopolies and cartels then force the broken up independent companies to compete.

Give them time, I'm certain they will monetize everything possible.

Even with this gap, the financial class blames the cost of labor as the reason for inflation instead of corporate profits, lol.

Here's a list of human rights:

Read article 25:
  1. Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
  2. Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection

and Article 26:
  1. Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit.
  2. Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. It shall promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace.
  3. Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children.

It took 4 presidential administrations in the US. But just compared to 2000, the exact places where there's inflation are the places that humanity considers basic human rights. It's no wonder everyone sees we're heading to dystopia.

But there is hope.
  1. There are places where there's deflation at the same time there's significant activity and gain in productivity. These are places we now call "technology". But it shouldn't be the only places.
  2. College textbooks had a little backslide, partially because efforts (though unsustained) by students and some professors to deal with the problem.

I think there should be concerted efforts to produce exponentials independent of Moore's Law that continually push prices for human rights (of articles 25 and 26) lower.

There's a new mislead using statistic going around, enough to make me wonder who is sponsoring this campaign.

Remember: If Jeff Bezos walks into a dive bar, the bar's average net worth is over a Billion dollars.

Here are statistics using median net worth, which tells the real story.

But, here is story being cloned all around the internet recently:

Of course they're talking about average net worth per capita, not median net worth per person.

Mark Zuckerberg is a millennial making millennial net worth on par with boomers. Lol.

There's clearly a click bait type of thing going on. If you try to find the median version of the same statistics, you'd be innundated with results about the same average based statistics.

eat these motherfuckers before they escape in their generational ships.
I am assuming you don't mean that in violent terms.

How much of your ire would go away if housing became affordable again? How much of it comes from other things?

I can think of two places where basic human rights get supplanted by status seeking: Housing and higher education. I feel like if housing became ever more affordable then people may no longer need (or rather feel they need) higher education, bringing prices down there too.
