This is another converter quiz of mine!
Now you insert your IPIP Neo results with facet and your MBTI type is sort of deducted.

Link:
https://www.quotev.com/quiz/12999568/BIG-FIVE-to-MBTI-converter-quiz

Description:
Hi, this is a converter quiz where you convert your Big Five with facets results (or, more precisely, your IPIP NEO results) to a MBTI type. The IPIP NEO version I based the most is this source here:
Personality Assessor | IPIP-120 Personality Test
But should work for other versions, although in less precision.
A lot of Big Five and MBTI/cognitive functions are connected with each other, and I can deduce (or induce with good precision) ones MBTI type by using a detailed Big Five test result with facet. This quiz can be used for those who are in doubt of MBTI type and can use a different lens to take that doubt out, but also to detect if you are self-reporting with proper consistency.

I added skip button to basically everything to give some freedom, although this increases the risk of having less accurate results. but the less questions you skip, the better.

You can take a IPIP Neo test here:
Personality Assessor | IPIP-120 Personality Test

A few points on this:

Question 2 is unclear: - Neuroticism is not used for MBTI and types; I also had removed Cheerfulness due to this Extraversion facet being connected with Neuroticism.
- Insert facet Activity / Activity Level (Extraversion facet)

What are you asking there?

This is what I got. As an aside, I don't have a lot of faith in SimilarMinds tests/content so I'm not sure I'd use that as a reference for anything

ENTJ

Your type is ENTJ (this isnt a 100% accurate, so you might consider the 2nd result as well).
You can google ENTJ descriptions for a regular description, because Im going to put the Big Five descriptions of ENTJ here instead, by basically describing ENTJ in the light of Big Five. Be aware that Big Five is not as positivist on the description as the regular MBTI descriptions are.

SCOEI (ENTJ, low Neuroticism)
not afraid of doing the wrong thing, speaks up regardless of consequences, not filled with doubt, more dominant than submissive, not afraid to draw attention to self, self confident, does not back down when threatened, decisive, feels you have to be tough on people to get things done, not easily hurt, worry free, not easily intimidated, not concerned with failure when trying something new, aggressive, fearless, controlling, domineering, ambivalent about the suffering of strangers, not easily discouraged, out for own personal gain, comfortable in unfamiliar situations, unconcerned with the misfortunes of strangers, likes giving speeches, not easily moved to tears, manipulative, unapologetic, knows where life is going, narcissistic, exacting in their work, does not second guess self, untouched by other people's feelings, the first to act, level emotions, never at a loss for words, opinionated, demanding, goes after what they want, believes in a logical answer for everything, not very religious, show off, calm in crisis

SLOEI (ENTJ, high Neuroticism)
demanding, controlling, aggressive, retaliatory, does not forgive easily, opinionated, domineering, does not accept what others say, believes that appearances are important, likes to be the center of attention, not patient with people who annoy them, easily annoyed, quick to judge others, preoccupied with self, show off, feels you have to be tough on people to get things done, prone to addiction, not good at sports, frequently pursues impressive achievements, takes charge, competitive, frustrated and angry when people don't live up to expectations, not on good terms with everyone, second place rarely feels good enough to them, antagonistic, able to stand up for self, acts superior to others, hard to satisfy, bothered by disorder, impatient, becomes aggressive when they feel hurt, decisive, abrupt, impulsive, more dominant than submissive, finishes most things they start, desires some level of fame in their community, unable to control cravings, acts out frustrations on others, easily frustrated, can become overwhelmed by events, does not readily admit mistakes, moody, not very religious

ENTJ can be seem as a mix of these types:
CULTURED TYPE (High C, High O)
Cultured Types are imaginative and resourceful in their thinking but conforming and traditional in their behavior. They use their intellectual skills to contribute to the common good. They may have a dignified, refined, and somewhat reserved air about them. Their perceptive and analytical abilities allow them to see through complex issues rapidly and accurately, allowing them to find quickly the most effective means of achieving desired ends. They are successful perfectionists, well suited for work that requires close concentration, self-control, and attention to detail. Others describe them as rule- abiding, persevering, learned, well-read, empathic, trustworthy, industrious, leaderlike, traditional, silent, and reserved.
DEBONAIR TYPE (High E, High O)
Debonair Types are intelligent extraverts. In their worldliness they can be quite witty and charming. They have a flair for the dramatic, and can be histrionic and theatrical. People are naturally attracted to debonair types, but if a debonair type dislikes somebody, he or she can swiftly cut that person to the quick. Therefore, this type is generally described with positive terms such as enterprising, eloquent, forward-looking, confident, and sexy, but can also be described as critical, candid, and intense.
ENTERPRISING TYPE (High E, High C)
Enterprising Types strive for success as defined by conventional social standards. They are ambitious, competitive, achievement-oriented, purposeful, leaderlike, and willing to move into positions of authority. Their probability of success in leadership roles will increase with higher scores on Agreeableness, Emotional Stability, and Openness.
DOMINEERING TYPE (High E, Low A)
Domineering Types enjoy exerting power and influence over others and strive to control them without taking their feelings into account. They are seen by others as critical, self-centered, stubborn, and bossy.
INDIVIDUALISTIC TYPE (Low A, High O)
Individualistic types consider themselves to be unique and more intelligent than most people around them. In extreme cases they might be regarded as eccentric, but in most cases they are perceived by others as complex, well-read, imaginative, and industrious.

Hey =)

I do think you got INTJ on second, which means that it is more or less fine, I did mention that it isnt a 100% accurate but this should get the right type on the top of two results in the largest majority of cases (I did say it on a redundant way to give emphasis).

You have been a INTJ on a position of leading for nearly decades, right?
Liking or not that changes the results on Big Five: It gets you farther of the average INTJ activities and closer to average ENTJ activities. This influences some few Big Five scores like Assertiveness. That is probably the most likely reason for you getting ENTJ instead of INTJ, and there is not much I can do about it.

The question 2 asks for activity level facet.
What I had started is an observation, I was just saying why I dont ask for Cheerfulness and Neuroticism.

Its not that I have a big faith on similar minds, but that is the only website that has Big Five descriptions in form of types and not dichotomies. I do agree, though, that they could be better.

The question 2 asks for activity level facet.
What I had started is an observation, I was just saying why I dont ask for Cheerfulness and Neuroticism.

The first question was about overall extraversion score. It sounds like the second question asks exactly the same thing. Rather than describe your logic for not including cheerfulness or neuroticism, I would just ask what specific thing you are looking for.

As to INTJs, I am not sure I'm typical. I'm really strong on Te, so much so that I've mistyped on occasion as ENTJ. I believe when I was younger, I was somehow taught that Ni is not a good way to be. Si is valued. Te is valued. As a result, I always thought there was something wrong with me that I couldn't be as effective in articulating my reasoning behind things without coming across as argumentative and dismissive of others. I'd say something and people would be like "what?". To compensate, I used Te a lot. It got better as I got older and as I grew more confident in that side of myself and that there was nothing wrong with intuition being such a big part of my thinking.

I already switched the second question and put that logic justification on the first question instead.

As your story, its an interesting one and it does justify the results.
Sadly, I dont believe that typology and tests really made to the point of really "detecting the core you", at least not yet.

Your type is INFP (this isnt a 100% accurate, so you might consider the 2nd result as well).
You can google INFP descriptions for a regular description, because Im going to put the Big Five descriptions of INFP here instead, by basically describing INFP in the light of Big Five. Be aware that Big Five is not as positivist on the description as the regular MBTI descriptions are.

RCUAI (INFP, low Neuroticism)
avoidant, often late, patient, rarely prepared, non-aggressive, slow to judge others, withdrawn, unconcerned with image, relaxed, avoids crowds, easy going, not demanding, low maintenance, unambitious, not domineering, private, thinks before acting, concerned with the feelings of others, not wild and crazy, not controlling, does not like to show anger, hard to offend, dislikes the spotlight, uninterested in leading, not competitive, overly nice, not physically affectionate with most people, not bothered by disorder, level emotions, does not second guess self, agnostic/atheistic tendencies, not picky about food, not relationship obsessed, unproductive, unimposing, plain in appearance, disorganized, loner, lower energy level, very curious, uninterested in prestige/fame, not superficial, likes difficult reading material, does not get worked up about most things, fearless, flexible, trusting, does not stick to plans, easily distracted, interested in science, unconcerned that people have trouble reading them, a good loser, modest, not swayed by emotions

RLUAI (INFP, high Neuroticism)
moody, not good at sports, low energy level, unable to speak up for self, avoidant, depressed, withdrawn, attracted to things associated with sadness, easily frightened, feels defective, lonely, no self confidence, easily discouraged, avoids crowds, backs down when threatened, easily intimidated, socially unskilled, loner, unproductive, late with work, prone to health problems, focuses on fantasies more than reality, self loathing, wounded at the core, easily hurt, often sad, becomes overwhelmed by events, fearful, rarely prepared, fears doing the wrong thing, often aware how the color and lighting of a room affects their mood, feels untalented, quiet around strangers, prone to addiction, doubting, anxious, easily confused, frequently overwhelmed by unpleasant feelings, weak sense of purpose, relates to broken and discarded things, unsure where life is going, continually losing things, fears drawing attention to self, avoids unnecessary interaction, often bored, second guesses self, embarrassed by praise, worrying, resigned, prone to jealousy

INFP can be seem as a merge of these types:
FANCIFUL/IMAGINATIVE TYPE (Low C, High O)
Fanciful/Imaginative Types are unconventional nonconformists who pride themselves on being different from others. They are not so much openly antisocial and disruptive in their behavior as they are fanciful, impractical, and unconcerned about the general welfare of others. They are described by others as complex, imaginative, and critical.
BOOKWORMISH TYPE (Low E, High O)
Bookwormish Types are highly intellectual, introspective, self- examining loners. Although they keep to themselves, their level of intelligence and learning garners them respect for others. They are described by other persons as learned, well-read, persevering, rule- abiding, calm, and industrious.
APATHETIC TYPE (Low E, Low C)
Apathetic Types lack energy and direction in life. They are described by others with terms such as passive, unenergetic, unambitious, sluggish, indecisive, aimless, and wishy-washy.

Sources of these descriptions:

IPIP NEO Descriptions

Here are some facts you wont find that easily on internet about INFP (some of these are from my personal search that does not follow soft-scientific standards):
- The most common type in typology community in general.
- Most common introverted intuitive type world-wide.
- One of the most introverted types, tied with INTP and INTJ.
- 4.5% of world´s population (based on 21 countries,2012-2020) and 6.4% of US population (2018).

My own description of Fi and Ne (pair for INFP):
Fi: typologytriad.wordpress.com/cognitive-functions/introverted-feeling/
Ne: typologytriad.wordpress.com/cognitive-functions/extraverted-intuition/

Countries with most INFPs:
1 - Japan (10.1% of population)
2 - Ireland (9.7%)
3 - Canada/Australia/UK (8.2%)

Countries with least INFPs:
1 - Brazil (2.7%)
2 - Thailand (3%)
3 - Spain (3.2%)
3 - Norway (3.2%)

Countries and MBTI types:
typologytriad.wordpress.com/mbti-population-by-country/

Most common type in INFPs friends/best friends list (based on several "[INFP] What is your best friend?" threads among several different websites/forums):
1 - INFJ (14%)
2 - ENFP (11%)
3 - INTJ (11%)
4 – Another INFP (10%)

INFPs on Enneagram:

Most common: Type 4 (57%)
Usual: Type 5, Type 6 and Type 9.
Rare: Type 1, Type 2 and Type 7.
Incompatible: Type 3 and Type 8.

INFPs on borderlines:

This type usually have “solid” preferences, the most normal result is to not have borderlines. The most common borderline for this type is F/T, and generally people that have this borderline are Type 5 on Enneagram instead of being a Type 4 or Type 9. From 30 INFPs on Dario Nardi test, 19 had not a single borderline, 10 have one borderline and 1 have two borderlines. 9 INFPs had borderline on F/T, 2 had borderline on J/P, 2 had borderline on I/E and no one had a N/S borderline.

MBTI / Enneagram / Big 5 connections:
typologytriad.wordpress.com/mbti-enneagram-big-5-correlations/

Borderlines:
typologytriad.wordpress.com/2020/07/12/tcf-series-5-what-is-the-most-thinker-of-all-thinkers-is-there-an-intuitive-sensor-all-dichotomies-covered/

second result was ENFP, third was surprisingly ISTP (high ISTP scores are only a thing in Vendrah assessments)

hahahahah I actually know why.
I have been using ISTP as the most extroverted introverted type way back then, since my first quiz.
You score maximum points for ISTP by marking on the middle of E/I (and for this one ENFJ goes from the other side), and its the only Introvert type where you still score points (although quite low and the lowest type) if you mark on the moderate extraversion side (60-80). This influences some extraversion facets too.
Although making every ambivert having extra ENFJ and ISTP points seems to be a mistake, in general terms this helps a lot. It is exactly because of things like this that I can recognize, for example, feelers with low Agreeableness. And, of course, for non-ENFJ and non-ISTP people having a little bit of extra points for these types isnt a problem.

Did you take the test on mobile or on the computer? Quotev is fun because it allows you to see your primary results, as well as how others have scored statistically if you scroll to the bottom on the screen on your computer:

If you cannot get it to work, you can always post your big 5 scores and I could help you out. Idk if you need a Quotev account to access this information, but I have one if you'd like those results and you cannot get them yourself.

I dont get what you mean, but my guess is.. You meant to collect people IPIP Neo results from people with confidence on their MBTI type?
Although I forgot to mention, I had based this calculator from here:
https://www.typologycentral.com/for...ies-stats-studies-possibly-4.html#post3226085

It is based on a small quantity of people who are confident of their own types and posted results (the link above), so I had made some few modifications, taking into account MBTI-->Enneagram-->Big Five as well (for example, associating ESTP, ENTP and ESFP with highest level of excitement seeking, because excitement seeking is towards enneagram 7 that is towards EXXP types and I had took ENFP out of the highest level for reasons I dont remember).

One of the questions I ask on the forum personality test is what type people have tested for before and how certain they are of their type. For people who are very certain, it's a way to fine tune the results of the test. If it seems things aren't working properly I can diagnose why. Your conversions may be wrong or the inputs may be wrong. It's not easy to tell without some kind of additional data to validate results. Your test gave the wrong result for me. You could throw up your hands and say there is nothing I can do about that (based on the theoretical model you have in place) or potentially investigate further on what fine tuning could be done based on the data you are getting back. You could refine your model. I can tell you the vast majority of people who take the forum test do not post on the forum so I'd never get that kind of feedback on how the test is working otherwise.

Yep, I agree with you, but no free quiz engine allows me to ask if you are sure of your type and no free quiz engine does record your answers to me. Me and RadicalDoubt or Luminous doing personality quizzes/tests (this counts for tests and for the conversions) is more limited than you or Sakinorva or Nardi because of this, since we do not have ways to ask people type, if they are sure of, and record their answers, so we pretty much dont have an idea of which questions we ask are working as they are meant to and which others are not.
