1) Context:
a) What is your age range and general location (Country so that cultural values can be taken into account)? Do you have any impairments that may affect the way that you answer this questionnaire? Any religious or political beliefs (or anything else along those lines) that also might have an effect?

I'm a 33-year-old female from Finland.

No impairments or beliefs affecting as far as I'm aware.

b) Which types are you currently considering? Why are you considering them and why haven't you decided on one?
I can see too many possible types to decide any particular type. I feel I need to get more information to decide but maybe I'm just not seeing the forest for the trees.

2) What do you deem as your purpose in life?

I don't know. I wish I knew. Searching for meaning? I think that is what I do, search for something important enough to do.

3) Of the seven deadly sins, which one(s) do you relate to the most and the least and why?

Anger/wrath. Certain things annoy and frustrate me easily and sometimes I react and let it show and let others hear about it.

4) Analyzing your relationships with others, briefly describe:
a) The type of people you are drawn to

Inquisitive

b) The type of people who are drawn to you

HSPs, highly sensitive persons.

c) The type of people you are repulsed by

Non-questioning (is that a word?), strictly following rules and social norms, not thinking by themselves

5)What are the traits in others that you admire but you cannot emulate yourself? Elaborate.

Carpe diem people. I find it challenging to stop my thought processes and enjoy the moment. I'd like to try that though. I also admire it when someone is great with people, entertaining and funny. Even trying is way out of my comfort zone.

6) Describe your relationship with the following:
a) Anger
I get angry every day. Usually I don't express it strongly.

b) Shame
I would feel more shame if I let other people closer emotionally. I can tell all about my interests but nothing about my feelings.

c) Fear
I avoid feeling fear and would not like to seem fearful. Certain things might scare me and I might worry things for a long time.

d) Love/passion

I love my children and I love certain other aspects of my life. I go after what I'm passionate about.

e) Conflict

Waste of time basically yet I can be the one starting conflicts. I have a need to deal with injustice when I see it no matter what are the consequences.

7) What are some of the themes that have played a prominent role in your life (ie. A struggle you've been unable to conquer, ect)?

Can't focus on anything long-term, I don't know why. I have searched for the right career path for more than a decade. I have switched my major and graduated (I was quitting many times so it is a miracle I finished my degree) and started doctoral studies, started as a private entrepreneur with good income and now I would like to switch back to the major I firstly studied. My spouse thinks I'm lunatic.

8) Answer only one of the following:
a) [College aged and above] What is your area of work/study? Why did you choose this and would you change it? If so, what would be your ideal?

Dentistry, I'm a dentist. I was into medicine and chose dentistry, I don't know why. I am now applying to study psychology.

b)[Under college aged] What do you plan on studying/working as in the future? How did you go about deciding this? If this is not your ideal area of pursuit, what would be?

9) When meeting a new person, what do you tend to focus on?

I have no idea, general impression?

10) How do you feel about humanity as a whole? What do you feel are some of the biggest problems the human race faces and why?

Selfishness and fear. I think it is wrong and sad that so many leaders are thinking their own benefits more than that of their country or the world.

11) What are some of your hobbies and interests?

Reading, studying. I'm into spiritual development, personality, languages.

13) How do you usually "hang out" with your friend(s)? When answering, think about what activities you tend to choose, whether you hang out with one person at once or many, whether or not you initiate the interaction.

I never hang out with a group but always with a friend. I want to focus on one person at the time.

14) What is more important, actions or words? Why?

In what way more important? More impactful, more determining what is their opinion, affecting more profoundly on others? Anyhow, I have noticed that at times people say something and yet eventually do something else. Still, for me words are more important because I need them, I need them to express my thoughts precisely enough.

15) Oh dear, you've been cursed by a witch! It's ok though, you get a choice on which curse you will receive. Will you choose….
a) To never be able to experience the sensation of taste
b) To be immortal
c) To lose your memories
d) To be poor for the rest of your life
e) Or to never experience passion
Elaborate on why!

I would not choose a) because it would lead to an early death (there are studies on this). I would not choose to be immortal because my soul already is and I don't want my body to be. I really don't care about my memories so they could go. I don't care about money too much but I want to be independent and not work all the time so I don't want to be poor. Passion I cannot give up from.

16) What do you hope to avoid being? If it helps, describe a person who embodies what you avoid/you as a villain, ect.

Embarrassing. Clingy. Overly emotional.

17) How do you relate to obsession? Do you tend to "merge" with others or your interests? How do you feel about the idea of doing this?

I accumulate as much information as I can when I'm passionate about something. I do that as long as I feel I have learned the subject, I can continue for a few months. Then I get passionate and curious about something else and focus on that.

18) Organized or messy? Plans and blueprints or impulse and surprises? What are you preferences and tendencies?

Basically I'm naturally messy and improvising but I do like when my surroundings are neat and there's less stuff. I try to be early but I often make too optimistic estimates when it comes to time and getting somewhere.

19) How do you subjectively view comfort and how do you create comfort in your life and surroundings?

I value comfort. I correct comfortability whenever I notice lack of it. I can be a bit difficult at times because I hate it outside if it's too hot, too windy, too cold or raining. I don't like adapting to those.

Hey there!

I'm no expert typist, but you seem to be an introverted feeler... possibly IXFJ.

Thanks! I relate to Fives otherwise but I'm self-revealing, except emotionally. But I can open up easily with strangers if there's a connection. And I can be very chatty then, when one-to-one with someone I can relate to. Could that be a Five?

Thanks! Isn't introverted feeler like IXFP though? Not J? And why not an introverted thinker?

My dear, good luck with your new path of studies. I only have one question to confirm my theory, why do you intend to do psychology?

Well, considering everything you have said. You indicate some signs of having an inferior Se and the lack of touch with your own emotions (quite common with Fe users). I imagine you are an INFJ, but it would be great if you could check the general descriptions of the psychological type and try to see if it matches your behavior.
